hey vlad, I could not access that link. Is this the same thing? Meteorite Impact 2 Billion Years Ago May Have Ended an Ice Age
"To put a precise age on Yarrabubba crater, researchers analyzed minuscule features within tiny zircon and monazite minerals in rocks near the crater" At 2.23 billion years. If the accuracy of analysing those miniscule features is off by 0.1%, then they are off by 2 million years A meteor might have ended an ice age we aren't that sure about in the first place, the work was done by another bunch of experts 20 years ago....+/- more like 200 million years ago. But we won't really say that, because who's going to fund out next project?
