Can you guys do a lot of drinking and still manage to get it up just fine?

Even tho I'm young (25) if go for half a vodka bottle in say a couple hours then its pretty a game of luck for me. I mean, can still do it but it's not, like, rock solid as usual. And I can go soft out of any distractions like putting a condom. Its really annoying! Is that normal, or am I drinking too much? (I know I do lol). I must confess, I had to resort to pills a couple times. Better that than missing the game, right?

I'm just curious on how much the drinking affect your perfomance. Cause even tho it makes it harder to get it up, I often have great sex while I'm drunk. Way better than sober. Dirtier, nastier. And I can perform much for longer cause I don't "feel" it as much (probably alcohol's anesthetic properties).

At the end of the day, is better? Worst? Same? What do you think?

you just have to find the right balance, like with anything. drink a few until you hit the sweet spot where you're a little numbed and can last longer, but before you start to lose ability.

it seems to work that way with most activities that are commonly associated with drinking. like when i was on a beer and bowling league, i always did best on my second game because i was appropriately loosened up, but by game three i was starting to get kind of drunk and my performance would start to decline.

There definitely is an optimum amount. To start with, alcohol can make you feel hornier and, as it lowers inhibitions, it may make you more ready to try things and may also make you better at communicating with a partner. A larger amount and it begins to affect performance and not just "getting it up".

Due a previous illness I am under doctor's orders not to drink so I can't say what the optimum number of drinks would be for me and, if if I could, it may not be the optimum number for you because the more we habitually drink the less sensative we are to at least some of the affects. You'll have to experiment.

Half a bottle of vodka does seem to me to be in the zone where I would suspect it will begin to affect performance for most people. I do wonder if social effects, like disinhibition, adjust to your typical level of consumption more than physical effects. If, as I suspect, this is the case then if you drink quite a bit day to day the optimum zone will be smaller than for someone who normally drinks less and, in the most extreme cases, may disappear completely.

Moderate alcohol is a significant "sex enhancer". As in...improves your experience, and often your partners.
Alcohol makes you hornier, lowers you inhibitions...nuff said
Drunk however...makes you stupid, less able to control motor actions and often obnoxious...nuff said there too.
