Apparently Starbucks is trying out a new "evening menu" idea in which the company will be selling beers and wines to their customers. This has already started in some cities like L.A and Chicago Read more in the article: http://www.eonline.com/news/523963/...et-a-shot-of-booze-with-your-shot-of-espresso I thought this sounded kind of interesting myself. Maybe it won't be long before we can order a coffee and ask your barista to irish it up for you
I heard that was gonna happen years ago, forgot all about it. I think they should probably stick to coffee though. I was looking at a starbucks secret menu last night. I wanna try this, http://starbuckssecretmenu.net/love-on-the-rocks-refresher-starbucks-secret-menu/
I used to make that, but instead of raspberry syrup, i did peach. tastes really good, that I would make two trenta cups of it to sneak home after work and after a few sips i'd add some gin too it. amazing
so then the employees are aware of these recipes? I didn't know if I have to bring the recipe with me or not
Nah the employees are pretty retarded IME. I know quite a few, but a lot don't. You can bring the recipe in though and order regardless of their knowledge
so is your starbucks going to serve alcohol? I guess employees would have to go through training and alcohol serving safety for that?
I no longer work there, so I'm not sure. I think they will likely play this in cities. But the article did mention that they were thinking of expanding this evening menu to all locations. I'd assume current employees would get a small training day as we always did for new promotional or completely new products. I still can't tell if they will add hard liquor to your coffee. Sounds more like beer and wine
Actually, what bugs me is Starbucks hands down has access to the best coffee beans in the world. but for whatever reason they set their espresso machines to kill every last taste of it and hide it with sugar. Roast some of your own Starbucks beans at about 195 degrees.
Howard Schultz has been trying for years to add more to the coffee line. He wanted food, for along time but his board kept him from doing it. The booze is his next attempt. And now with some stores closing they're looking to add something new. Rat you crack me up, you're such a typical non conformist
