This video is classic hippie dippy life on the farm today with a focus on being more self-sufficient and ecologically responsible. Anyone who has lived on a farm might relate to everything they do, including their taste in pesto. Unlike other lifestyles, on a farm you eat a lot, I mean a lot, of whatever you grow or grows in your area and pretty much everybody agrees on what is palatable. Their greenhouse, laundry, generator, and power requirements in general are what interests me about this video. They must use a freezer, but being in Alaska its debatable how much they might want to invest in solar power cells. However, a passive solar water heater and cooker can be cheaply made that would significantly cut back on their use of fossil fuels. Anyway, I was just so impressed with these two hippies and how well the video was made I thought I'd share.
