I am from Alabama and just moved to Pell City. I am new here and I was wondering if anybody here is close by. I don't know anybody here and I am looking to make friends.

 

I had the pleasure of driving through alabama a few years ago from florida..I loved it! so beautiful and green!!

 

I just graduated college in North Alabama where there were lots of cool socially free ppl to hang out with now I'm about 40miles north of Birmingham smoking alone looking for ppl to hang out with.

I didn't even know what town you lived in. All I did was search your hipforums username on myspace. Try it, just type your name in the myspace search. You were the only person that it brought up. It took 5 seconds. No extensive search like you claimed it to be. If you don't want people to see it you should use a different username. Why would I not want to know more about a person I might be willing to meet up with in the real world?

around here, we say, "tuscaloosa is a drinking town with a football problem!"
if you're into bars & football, then this might be the right place for you!

i am not into bars or football, & i often feel out of place!
but, i have been around here for a long time & over the years have met some really amazing people. like-minded folks can be few & far between down here (but i guess you must know that already!)

don't mean to sound like i am complaining! i attended the university for my undergrad, & i do think it is a great school. there just isn't much else going on here, though we did get some good shows during the spring

but, if you do come to town, i would be glad to help you out! must admit, i am pretty removed from the scene these days, but i will be glad to help if i can

so what are you studying??? & where else are you thinking of applying?
