Not likely. Alabama is one of the states that has been on never-ending "probation" for election issues that date back to the 50s. I was speaking to the dearth of women and black Americans in higher government positions. And not just in Alabama.

Like it or not, these positions have to be won. After that, the people who win these seats have to actually perform their duties. In too many cases they have been elected as ornaments by an excited constituency who vote along popularity and even color lines instead of listening to the actual messages these politicians are spouting forth.

Here in Georgia we have a crooked crony for governor, everybody knows this. But, he knew how to play it. While he had Stacy trying to run down a long list of phony voter's rights issues, that didn't actually happen, he was free to put out the kind of message that got him elected. Only a few kinds of candidates in a few kinds of districts can hope to win by banking on SJW messaging and victimology.

The rest have to appeal to a wider, more diverse audience. Its time we demand more reality from these people.

 

The thing is he puts it like he's not entitled to his opinion. Which is false. The opinion if the person who has a baby growing in her belly matters more in this instance. If 6-eyed is at odds with that should we really cater to that? (without even denying him his opinion. He's allowed to it, naturally)

This is why I’m mostly pro-choice. I think if she doesn’t feel qualified enough to be a good mother she should be given the choice. The sooner the abortion occurs the better. Have you ever seen a video of a late term abortion? For me it was basically a snuff film involving a fully functional and healthy baby. It disturbed me to great lengths. To anyone who’s in favor of late term abortions, I dare you to watch such a video.
