Ain't It a Shame-- Antoine "Fats" Domino has died

I watched him play in one of my favorite movies growing up.

Every Which Way but Loose 1978
With Clint Eastwood and Clyde

His songs were never just back ground music for the movie. The producers and director centered the camera on Fats and filmed his music....even for just a min or two.

It took you off of the story of the movie and gave attention to his great talet. Love that piano!

 

Truly a fine musician and what I felt was a very humble man...

Indeed rest in power.

A lot of people declared him dead in 2005 after hurricane Katrina hit and flooded his home situated in New Orleans Lower Ninth Ward.

He stayed behind because his wife was sick and he almost drowned
