The Taliban does not want women working in aid agencies in Afghanistan. I call this ingratitude. Here is the quandary.While aid agencies bring some relief to human suffering, at the same time they are propping up a repressive regime. Should agencies pull out? I am inclined to say they should to bring about the downfall of the Taliban.
A very difficult question, hard to answer. Is causing MORE pain and suffering the answer? Did this work as a tactic previously anywhere???
