Drones have been proving their usefulness in warfare as shown in the war between Ukraine and Russia. They have changed the battlefield and the way wars are waged. Even the Houthis are mastering drone warfare (with Iran's help) against shipping in the Red Sea. That's despite Yemen being the poorest country on Earth. Their attacks on shipping has had huge economic effects, with minimum effort or cost. And now the drones are evolving at an amazing pace. Ukraine just added AI to their drones, enabling them to defeat Russian jamming their sensors, which has been very effective up until now. With AI, they can train each drone with maps of terrain and photos of targets which then enable them to travel to target on prearranged flight path, without human control or satellite GPS. This technology has enabled Ukraine to hit Russian oil refineries one after another successfully. And not just hit the general area or even the storage tanks. The targeting is so precise, the drones hit the exact parts of the refineries that they can't replace due to the embargos on Russia.
