I got a sweet message from my friend Kris who's just landed a little while ago in München who says he cannot wait to get home. And I said lol ohh nothing has changed and you'll probably hate it now, nothing brings you down like your home town. And he says "yes, probably but what I really meant was, I can't wait to have a drink with you, Joc" and that made me feel really happy. So we're all getting together now. I haven't even packed my suitcase yet, I tried earlier this night and then got frustrated with it. Everything was sort of going to plan and then it came to panties, bras, socks and stockings... And now the suitcase just seems to full. >.<

Try rolling your clothes instead of folding them. Lots more will fit.

 

I've been rolling them hehe. If I was guaranteed a vacuum at the hotel I'd go buy those space bags that vacuum up and save space. =p

It's also other stuff in there not just clothes. Like we have a small carry on luggage bag folded into it but we plan on using that while we are over. We are being two cases, nothing too big and we think we can fit it all in one but we'll pack individually so it doesn't look suspect going through security with an empty bag.

 

Packing wears my brain out.

 

It seems so easy... But there's always so much more than just clothes. =\ for the most part we are done now. Just a quick wash on the weekend for clothes we need to be washed and then we'll check the checklist and zip them up and lock them and wait until the end of next week.

When my brother took us to Charleston about 5 years ago, we spent 2 nights, 3 days We packed for 3 nights/days. I thought I was going to...Lose. My. Mind. figuring out what to pack.

I forgot the chargers for my phone and my camera. good grief. Then for some reason I took about 6 pairs of shorts. lol I was still smoking...I want to blame my stupidity on that.

Firecrackers will make you stupid too but in a different way. Have you gotten the chance to try any yet?

My acupuncturist used to tell me to eat watermelon. Its good for you! it's supposed to help cool one insides down and help keep one "balanced" is how she would put it.

and my favorite type of Italian Ice.

I think the watermelons will be gone from the stores here pretty soon. They were looking rough last time I was digging through the bin at walmart. This was a round, dark green one. It looked like a bowling ball.

 

They are killing cornish game hens this saturday. That makes for an easy night if i even have to come in at all.
