Coming in and reading is like a dysfunctional thanksgiving dinner. You feel you need to attend and it leaves a lump in your belly and yet you stay until the pie is done.

 

No one needs to lock doors in Canada people are too polite to commit crime. I don't know about this title it seems like a good thing if you can pull it off.

Given the look of the houses in that Toronto area they are rather high end and that might be part of the reason for feeling slightly more secure about the neighbourhood.

I personally lock my doors in the city where I rent now. At my home in the country I rarely lock the doors unless I am going out.

 

I'm confused by that video. Everyone whose door he opened was home. Do most Americans lock their doors while they are in their house during the day?

 

I lock my house during the day if I'm not going to be in sight of the door. If I go to the back of the house for any length of time, I lock the doors.

 

Wow I thought we were talking about locking doors at night or when you go out.

 

My doors are locked even when I am home and I don't live near many people. I know it's not likely that anyone other then my neighbors would even be in the area but I still do it. Maybe it comes from my mother she's a serious worrier.

 

Yeah, if the dog is on the front porch I don't bother but otherwise I do. There's been an uptick in crime around here.
