Hmm I thought that was Keselowski turning Kenseth around? I actually have good footage of that.

For the record I don't mind Joey, he gained respect from me at the media conference at hall of fame on the Tuesday. We were right there 4 rows back. When he spun out Kenseth a few weeks back I thought he clearly has the faster car and I believe if he'd just waited a bit longer he could have passed Kenseth anyway. But I've also seen Kenserh spin out Jeff for no reason at Bristol about a decade ago, and if you're going to block a car that's clearly faster, then you're going to get run over. And I think most the hate stems from the three wins in a row and the fact that fan boy Dale Jr. Didn't win at Talladega last week. If he'd have won, no one would be saying anything and that race would go down as "one of the best". But little miss fathers name didn't win and there was an uproar.

I think what Kenseth done was bad yesterday especially from an outsider perspective that doesn't like NASCAR to begin with it makes them look like idiots and as usual "they just wreck each other just because". But, like I said, we all saw it coming a mile away, I was just hoping Matt would slow the #22 down because Jeff had the long run car, but it was almost like slow motion, and I went up in joy because I knew the ramifications meant that Jeff was in the position to win.

As for Danica lol. We just shake heads at her, we saw most of her stupid wrecks but couldn't hear when and why and what was happening.

Fans used to love it when Dale Sr. wrecked people on purpose, but I guess times have changed. Dale Jr. has always tried to distance himself from his father and his reputation. I respect that. He has to be his own person, like everybody else.

Yesterday was like a throwback to the old days when Cale Yarborough and the Allison brothers used to go after people on the track and after the race. Bobby Allison got into more pit fights in an average year than you'll see today in all of the racing world combined. I remember when my dad used to watch all that.

We are off to find the elusive Faygo today as there is a store here in Roanoke that supposedly stocks the elixir. :)

Then I don't know, I don't really know what to do. Not the best weather for sight seeing. We kind of just want to find a stand up bar that isn't revolved around food. Just somewhere where we can stand up, pay for drinks as we go and none of this sit in a booth and eat which is really my only gripe at the moment. Even though I am a touch hungry this morning. I've been having Caesar salad every few days as something light so that I can try a new burger the following day. Hehe. We've just yet to find a pub or a bar that is exactly that.. A pub. We've found ones we are attracted to, but it's still centered on food and not so much the drinks. Also I'm finding the rum to not be of my taste at the moment and I feeling a touch bleh on the beer all the time. Last night I discovered Kraken Black rum which has been the best so far. I might stick to girly teas and cocktails I think.

There are no bars in Virginia. If they sell alcohol they must sell a certain percentage of food. There are some places that the bar is the centerpiece but food will also be pushed there unless you go to a microbrewery.

If you can find one in Roanoke, it will have to be within a couple blocks of the Old City Market downtown, maybe on the west side.

For wet days, Roanoke has three museums downtown, and an enclosed shopping mall near the airport (north side).

If anybody ever invents a time machine, you may enjoy going back to the time just before NASCAR, when all the illegal moonshine runners used to race their heavily modified cars on dirt tracks near Wilkesboro, NC. They ran on moonshine (ethanol) so if there was any fuel left after the race, everybody could drink it! The second NASCAR track was built in Wilkesboro, and it's still there.

The first official NASCAR track was on the south side of High Point, but nobody knows the exact spot anymore. Lots of houses and businesses have been built all over that big piece of land, along the High Point / Archdale boundary.

That we do. If you are coming my way let me know and we could meet up for drinks or coffee. You are also welcome to pop in to my home if that is better for you. :)

I hear you. When I had the three it was far more barking as they did the pack thing. Now with only Lace it is a lot less barking unless she decides she is a big guard dog. Sometimes she convinces herself she is a dobie. :)

I've heard of Nth. Wilkensboro but it was before I was able to watch races on Tv. :) and yeah we figured it was law to sell food. We even have that back home but it's just so pushed and centered here. Eat first drink second.

We found faygo! Lots of faygo! We have 8 bottles in different flavors. :)

Look for nightclubs rather than bars and pubs perhaps? I don't know the area but I know around here if it says pub or bar on the sign that's a nice way of saying you can get a beer with your food if you want.

It's like all the pubs turn into nightclubs after hours.

I'm now trying to find designs for a Jeff Gordon tattoo. But I don't know how I incorporate #24 and Martinsville. At all. =\ :D

There's at least two sports bars in or very near the Old City Market that will have the football game on tonight.

Hot Topic used to sell Faygo just because of ICP. I don't know if they still do that store is a lot different then it used to be. It used to be for goths and punks now its for Twilight fans.

I have dinner all ready in the crockpot but I have to calm down from being angry before I can eat. Hubby told me something that made me very angry at someone and my adrenaline went sky high. I feel the headache coming on as it wears off. I dealt with the situation but I'm still angry about it. I hate what that does to my body.
