looks like the professors at my school are going to strike, so we will be moving south to my parents' place this weekend, about a month earlier than expected. even if they don't strike, my wife is going stir-crazy up here away from family, and i'm not able to get much done because I feel bad about not helping her with everything.

if they don't strike, it will mean that i will be splitting time between burlington and north bay. it will suck to be away from my family for 3 days/week, but it will only be for 5 weeks, so it should be manageable.

now, to see how much stuff we can fit in a small hatchback (along with two adults, a baby, and a dog...).

 

How does that affect your tuition Egg? You paid for a service the school is not providing.

 

Not sure, really. depends on how long they are on strike. As much as it could really fuck things up for me, I'm completely behind the profs. The administration here is among the highest paid in the province, our professors are dead last.

Just pulled us into our hotel in Virginia. It's beautiful, it reminds me in ways of my home as we drove through. well the mountains anyway a bit.

 

I have some vacuum bags that I'm using for clothing, and I have learned all of the hidden storage spaces in my car over the last couple of years. It looks like a clown car when I unpack it, haha.

Most the number plates here say West Virginia. We are in Roanoke. We found a strip club already. I'm blowing it off for the night though because I want to be fresh for race track tomorrow. the weather has been downgraded to only 20% rain on Sunday, cloudy. Hope that stays.

Two of my neighbors got into a near fist fight one Halloween because they both came to the party dressed as Elvira. I guess they each wanted to look like the bigger tramp.

 

That picture just didnt look right...i guess it makes sense since gingers have no soul.
