I was visiting Ty yesterday and there was a busy squirrel planting acorns all over the back yard.

    no planting here

they usually just pile them in the garage then sit there and eat them and then leave me a pile of shells

My Grandma was the squirrel whisperer. The wild ones in the neighborhood would go right up to her because they knew she would give them peanuts. There was a patio out back where I would play and the they would just run right past me and stand by the door waiting for her. She had to stop doing it because they started to really pester everyone else in the neighborhood in the same way. Word got around about which crazy old lady was doing it.

We really couldn't see anything today on our way through the Carolinas, it was raining very hard and visibility was zilch with all the trucks on the road and the spray. It was a pretty intense drive for me, my friends had offered to take over but I wanted to stick it through. It took about 3 and a half hours once we got out of the mess in Atlanta.

Thought of you Lynn when we went through SC. I was hoping maybe, somebody in a car next to me might just be you and we were closer than ever, but i doubt it lol. Things you think of when you're driving.

Mom said I started when I started walking so at about a year old. She use to follow me around when I was a child in case I did something dangerous or could get hurt. She stopped when I was a teenager as studies were done by then that show you are not likely to do something that you do not know how to do.

When we were first married Paul use to follow me about but claimed it made him exhausted to watch me do stuff all night and gave up. :)

Thankfully both the kids do not sleepwalk.

I also sing and play piano when sleep walking so the power to ignore noise is important in our house. The kids from birth never woke up from noises like that or housework as they heard it all the time and it never disturbed their sleep. :)

The trees in the city where i am are just starting to mature so we do not have many squirrels at all here. I have only seen a black and grey one in all the time I have lived here (3 years).

    That is completely wild! Wow.

My daughter does it rarely and you can tell if she's asleep because she scratches different places on her body while she's trying to talk to you.
