What are you looking forward to after the pandemic when the vaccine has taken effect? It's my 50th in April, and I'm hoping to have a good ol' party then.
Well I think I'll be skipping the vaccine = I'd rather go Natural remedies. Ah for those 10 years back They'll be many a Party of Celebrations when this all dies down
I'd been invited to facilitate a Buddhist meditation group, and we had about a half dozen 'regulars' that would sit with us consistently; a nascent sangha. Then we shut down and went to Zoom, which doesn't have the same vibe at all. I'm very much looking forward to resurrecting our little sangha. Seeing my Dad. I haven't seen my family face-to-face since March. I would like to go hiking again with a couple of hiking groups I was active in, pre-pandemic. Going out to dinner with friends & neighbors. Our village's Memorial Day/Labor Day/4th/Christmas parties The Folk Art School in Brasstown, NC would have live traditional music every Friday night. Our little town would have live music on the town square Friday evenings during the summer. Many of our neighbors would bring lawn chairs and sit together. Quarterly 'Songwriter's Showcase'. The Blairsville Highland Games. The Folk School's Fall Festival. "Hammer In" (Blacksmithy open house) at the Folk School. "Pumpkin Chunkin'" (catapults, trebuchets, and pneumatic cannon tossing pumpkins downrange, with associated festival). Hugging my friends. More than anything, what I'm looking forward to most of all is not hearing of so much illness, suffering, and death among the people.
after the pandemic ..everyone will walk around staring at each other ,as its been such a long time looking at masks
Well its our 25th Silver Wedding Anniversary on the 14th April . Will it be over by then? I'm not so sure . A Vaccine that leaves 3 people out in 10 doesn't sit well with me . Nothing the UK Government has done makes sense to me and I don't think the vaccine is any different. But I am hopeful of a better 2021 .
Congratuations - on that - whilat the (current) judged guestimate is May (so cuts it a bit fine) -This being said, one has got to be optimistic ... always
But a full fry up, - burgers, sausages, bacon, eggs, black pudding, mushrooms, beans and chips would be even better
