After the Empire...

Assuming that the American Empire does fall, what kind of a world will we be left with?

 

Probably one not much different from the one now... Someone else will rise to take the place, etc...

 

Yep. What about the government of the new empire. Will it still be a democracy?

 

Probably... Who will take americas place as top dog though? China maybe? Or the UK?

 

Nahh... I think it'll still be America... but a different America.

 

Yeah, that seems the most likely.... America's crash would bring the rest of the world down with it... So, though we may be fucked, everyone else would still be more fucked...

 

Yep and the dialectic of America shall resolve itself and a better America will rise from the Ashes.

 

And don't forget China... China rocks.

I bet it wouldn't be that muchn different then it is right now... :H

 

Maybe china and america will stand side by side as allies. China has an interesting dialectic of its own.

 

Its already kinda happening... China's going to overtake Japan as our number one trading partner by 2008.

 

Yeah... but the Chinese and American governments and their ways of life are different, and they are ideological and militaristic rivals. But After the great crashes, the world will undergo changes,and perhaps a complete alliance beetween the two giants will be possible.

 

If that doesn't happen will you shut up?
