Well, definitely another dialect, if not language.

What does the word 'freak' mean in African American dialect"

I have heard it used several ways. This one lady, several decades ago, was describing how she was sexually assaulted. And she said he made her 'freak' him. So clearly it means fellatio in one sense. But what about the other senses?

BTW I guess the first time I heard it used was in O'Bryan's 1981 hit the Gigolo.

Yeah, I liked the video (I was 13 at the time FWIW) because I thought he was cute. He still doesn't look half bad, but I think he looked more handsome as a young man.

i thought that was when you took the cancer stick out of a black and mild.

i also haven't determined why this little piece of paper is what is supposed to cause cancer rather than smoking a ton of tobacco.
