i need some advice on what to write my essay about..i am currently in the process for applying to columbia college in chicago.. i need to write an essay... it must start out like this there are two types of people..one who and one who.. any ideas ?? thanks
er, shouldn't it be ones who or those who, not one who.... anyways have access to post secondary education and those who don't? have access to healthcare and those who don't can eat their fill and those who go to bed hungry those who can read and those who can't those who believe in the legalization of pot/prostitution/whatever the hell and those who don't all you have to do is take a subject that has two opposign stances and talk about those who believe in the one side, and those who believe in the other side of the argument. please don't make broad sweeping generalizations though (ie all people who don't want pot legalized are stuck up conservative Jesusfreaks)
Personally I'd pull the old switcheroo and write..... There are two types of people in this world, those who believe that there are only two types of people, and those who do not. or ":", those who believe that people can be put into catagories and those who do not. You see where I'm going with that. I'm pretty sure that would be about the ideal answer for any college essay, plus the options after that are unlimited, go into a life experience(s), how diversity helps anything, etc.
Hey i am totally a random pot smoker and am all for the leagalization..and i AM extremely conservative and am a christian...so i guess if u made that generalization..u'd be wrong..or maybe i'm the exception to the rule!
You could talk about the different ways people deal with hardship, exp; there are two kinds of people in the world; those who say "I've been through shit so I'm going to give the world shit" And those who say "I've been through shit, you've been through shit...so lets hangout and try not to give each other any more shit".
