What are your thoughts about advertizing? I have mixed feelings. I am dead against ingratitude but on the other hand there is an element of art and can give budding actors as a start in their career.

never read it in mags, and always fast forward through them on TV. All advertising is just someone trying to sell you something you don't want/need. If I want or need something I look for it.

Advertising? Almost all advertising I hate, but I'm not gonna complain about it on the radio because I like free radio... though I still hate it, haha. If I do watch TV (only on rare occasion) I'll just go do something else, so it's bearable. The billboards are just too much though, they're absolutely disgusting to see dotting the countryside. I loath the vast majority of those with a passion

Still, it's great to learn about new bands or rekindle old interests in music, or a new areas radio station, or... huh, I dunno. Been in a musical mindset today, that's all I can think about. I'll come back if I remember any others

sometimes ads also are pieces of art , but they still remain ads, at least until the product they promote is available.

Joseph Hellier, Fay Weldon , Salman Rushdie and Peter Carey are all authors who at some time worked in advertizing.

I find s certain irony that to work in an advertising agency you have to get top grades from one of the best universities but working in advertizing is all about formulating vacuous arguments and irrational thinking.

Small ads... in their place are okay. Large ads that I have to skip through or wait for (youtube, etc.) are annoying as hell.

some of its necessary, its nice for stores to advertise in their windows that they have certain products and the prices so u can tell immediately whether you wanna go in that store or not and if they have what you need.

some ads on the internet use script that actually breaks the webpage, which is annoying as shit and counterproductive too .. they should either learn how to code better, or just leave the ads out of it. I came here for the content, not the ads.

if i have to reverse engineer a page and comment all that shit out just to make it work so i can see the content, thats bullshit cuz 99.99999% of people aren't gonna do that, don't know how, don't have time or don't care enough .. dumbest shit ever
