    Adolf Hitler was an immensely charismatic and visionary leader. but the most impressive leader of all time? I don't know. for that title, he has to contend with Julius Caesar, Alexander, Genghis and Kublai Khan, Stalin, Mao, Cyrus, and many others.

    I agree with polecat regarding Hitler's prowess as a military strategist. he made many foolish mistakes, and it is hard to believe you can go from being in such a good position to conquer the world to just letting it all fall to shit.

    okay, I didnt read the whole thread, so I dont know if this was mentioned. Have any of you read Hitler's Mein Kampf ? I've been wanting to read it for years now and I cant seem to find the book.

    Jesus. Any bookstore in New York carries it.

    But I haven't gotten to it yet, myself. One day I might. Not a priority at the moment.

    partially true. japan was forced into world war two by the forign policies of great brittan and the u.s.

    the hitler thing, well what hitler and bush have in common, is they both saw starting a war (and cooking up their own false flag provication as an excuse for doing so) as an 'economic revouvery package'. and yes, they WERE both idiots for doing so.
