Addictions(including the net) and psychological disorders rollcall PART 1

OK whats one of your prime addictions / psychological disorders?Or what *was* it?
This is a big topic so you're only allowed to say one ( ok max of 2) of your own.

And you can say what u think other people have ( in a *nice* way please...)

It could be crime , booze , drugs , anger , sex addiction , OCD , ADD ,ADHD , the Net , or whatever.

But to answer your question honestly...

I'm somewhat of a schizoid. None of my addictions are unbreakable though. I have always found it extremely easy to quit doing something without missing it... I quit ciggs for a week last week and didn't even think twice... and that's after years upon years of smoking. I have quit pot for long periods of time numerous times with no real effect other than some sleep problems and a lack of appetite. I can live without the internet, rather easily, when I'm surrounded by people. It'd be rather hard for me to completely give it up in solitude though... I love the endless flow of information and such.

 

I don't even know where to start.

 

I think drugs or the Net would feature as a prime one for many in RT or HF

 

cigs, wine, drugs... (maybe cigs and wine are considered drugs)

I might be addicted to the computer. in a 'when i get home and have nothing better to do I sit on here for hours' kind of way.

 

my addictions are pretty easy to break/not do when i choose not to do it

i'd say alcohol was a big one when i was in school my soph/jr year

 

coffee, beer, tobacco, I would like to say sex but have to re-evaluate that one.

I'm a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. I reckon I'm addicted to the net and TV.

 

my problem is that I recoverED.

I have the biggest belly of my life and I've been sober nearly 23 years.

 

I'm addicted to sleep, dreams, and the net. I've done without all of them at one time or another though.

 

sooooo, what your trying to tell me is that it's not the booze at all. You know... I thought that may be the case. I caught the gawdamned fat virus.

 

ADD/ADHD, OCD, narcissism, insomnia and lucid dreaming
i'm addicted to cigarettes, opiates, alcohol, music

but i'm perfectly fucking fine. better than most in fact.

(there's that narcissism)
