Actors/Real People.

There was a time when actors impersonated real people. Now real people come to impersonate actors, in that behaviour in society becomes more inauthentic on account of people subconsciously learning stock reactions and behavioural ticks from being brought up on television and movies.

Should this concern those looking to live life in the really real, or should we all disappear in to the foreground and make life like a movie.

Italian director Pasolini cast all non-actors in his 1964 film "The Gospel According To St. Mathew." This lends a strange quality to the film that is very effective. I'd rather see non-actors acting with sincerity than mediocre wannabes acting badly. Bad actors use their eyes too much to indicate emotion. Brando could act with his back turned to the audience, (Yes he started out on the stage) using just his shoulder muscles. People should recover the childlike facility to play again, in real life.

I've never watched "Dawson's Creek" or "Felicity". I guess during that time period I was preoccupied with other things. But I know what Dawson's Creek was. It was a television series featuring Dawson, I think.
