I saw it last night. Got a little high and had a blast! I definatly think its one of the better movies lately, something a lot of kids these days need to see. It almost reminded me of eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, which I also loved. I'm a big fan of the Beatles, and trippy visuals, so this movie was great!
It is amazing. I've already seen it twice. It's a really fun film and also a touching love story. My favorite scene is the 'Being for the benefit of Mr. Kite' sequence. Highly recommended. I was impressed with this film.
omfg! i didnt know it was out yet... i want to see it!!! altho... i think the movie would be better if your High. LoL
It was incrediblyyyy insulting. I don't care if I was alive then or not but I respect those people who were and changed the world.
okay I FINALLY saw it. I drove 3 hours away JUST to see it! and it was Amazing, totally worth the drive <3
Just drove an hour with a few friends to see it tuesday night. Got baked on the way, and enjoyed that movie more than anything else ive seen latley. I'd definitly reccemend going. My fav, probably Happines is a Warm Gun. Loved that scene
I should have seen it by now... But my bitchy friends was acting too bitchy lately so I haven't seen it. I told her about the movie few months ago, and since I'm waiting for my other friend to download it (my only chance to watch it, since it won't come to the cinema this year!). Apparently, my friend managed to get it somehow and she called me to tell me that. Do you think she invited me to watch the movie together? Nooooo. She said she has no time, but today she calls and says she watched it 4 times already. And she doesn't even like the Beatles, she knows only 2 or 3 songs... grrrrrrrrrr uke:
I haven't seen this film, and I never will. The bits of it I have seen look pretentious. I mean, it looks pretentious like those types who do drugs and think they're somehow a great genius and spiritual teacher because of it. Every time I see bits of it, I actually feel embarrassed for the people involved. It's like taking songs written about the personal lives of the Beatles and making them into songs about fake characters and superficial recreations of the obvious sixties touchstones (Vietnam, unemployed but of course good looking people with long hair, drugs and ummm... what else?). Honestly, who needs another superficial sixties movie? The only reason people will see this is because everyone loves the Beatles, or because they see themselves as hippies and are looking for yet another how-to manual for life.
I really enjoyed this, I didn't like the love story between Jude & Lucy but I'm picky when it comes to love stories. Hehe.
