Is acid common were you are from? Seems in my area everyone finds it an outrageous thing..Its so confusing to me why everyone seems so scared of acid these day.. i dont understand why in my area people rather do heroin and meth.
In my area, I wouldn't say acid is a popular drug but it certainly is a relevant drug and has it's niche and tends to come in waves. Acid is more popular among the HF community, however in the new decade the Research Chemical Market brought about Mxe which seemed some of the acid proponents on here became enamored with, some perhaps stopped using drugs, and 25i-nbome and subsequent microgram potent chems hit the scene as well, which come on the same mediums as acid but with nowhere near the safety profile. I think the Research Chemical Market can tend to create trends of popular drugs and sort of diffuse the use of other established drugs, it may not be that acid has necessarily became less popular interest wise, just that people want to explore other drugs as well. Then with the more dangerous chemicals out there that can be passed off as 'acid' raises some legitimate safety concerns. This kind of might be out of the scope of what you are asking but I think it's kind of relevant to where a lot the drug culture is at. That brings me to another point, in that I don't think all drug users are necessarily seeking the same things out of drugs, those who continually seek heroin and meth are likely looking more for the 'quick fix' as where Acid is not really a suitable drug for such use. Even in regards to strictly talking about LSD, some may find it outrageous as you say, as the mind can be a delicate thing and not everyone is built to put their mind through such a journey. It can take one through heaven, hell and back and can be mentally taxing and grueling for some and even after experiencing an LSD trip the idea of continually repeating that experience still may seem outrageous. LSD is not a drug that necessarily need be feared but it is a drug that demands a certain level of open mindedness, respect and responsibility.
It's around. The issue may be more sub-cultural than geographic. In other words, there may be a sub-culture of people in or near your area who like psychedelics and not heroin or meth. Take East Texas, for example. The main scene there is alcohol and a lot of meth and heroin. But, hidden away in this and many other unlikely places is a vibrant psychedelic trance scene. Like GB says, there are a lot of psyches out there - more than ever before in the history of the world. Festie season is almost here! I'm having to miss one this coming weekend. Sigh...
In my area it's pretty hard to find but luckily I know where to look! It is becoming more popular in mainstream culture though, a lot of new tv shows are referencing lsd, i'm surprised it's not made a huge comeback by now. I hope it does though..
It is around but definitely a niche drug. In the right circle it flows like water but the average person probably can't find it. It is not a casual high and compared to the 60's I am sure less people are seeking it.
yea its around my area, just seems like i cant find the right crowd of people to enjoy it with. I love the journey you take ups and downs , you can learn so much. imo.. As far as nombe series and RCs i dont mind them just wish people would inform you what the real product is. But i could see how others would be turned away i myself had a "acid" blotter sold to me after taking 4 and 4hrs passing figured bunk but thats when i realized i ingested DOx and tripped for 2days at least scary event..
Its not too hard to find around here, for me anyway. To be honest when it comes to finding all drugs you just have to know the right person, and acid isnt something a lot of people do. Acid is something very few people understand unless they have tried it. I believe theres 3 main different kinds of views on acid. 1. The people who would never try that shit(fear of bad trip, seeing spiders n shit, think they can fly off a building, send them to mental hospital) 2. The people who think its a fun part drug where you will see purple elephants, dragons, have the time of your life. (The friends i have in this category who tried acid ended up not being a fan, I believe due to them not getting what they were expecting out of it, and didnt know how to handle what they did get.) This is from my group of friends who are typical frat guy types though. 3. People who have actually done psychedelics or are just naturally open minded people and actually listen or read what people have said about it. If you find the people who have actually done psychedelics they can usually point you in the direction to find them, but for others they usually have no clue how to go about getting some. But onto the heroin and meth... Most people i know who do heroin it was though a series of steps from weaker opiates. Most people i know who do meth started with adderall, cocaine, etc. and moved on to a better form of speed drugs. These are also both very addictive drugs and users will use on any occasion. Before work, while driving, anything really. A lot of people try acid and never do again or will when they get the opportunity, maybe every few weeks, months, years. Acidheads dont just drop acid throughout everyday like heroin or meth heads do. People on these drugs unlike lsd lead to spending every dollar they make to buy more, call every lead they can find to get more if they need it. Another main reason is making meth is simple. Anyone can make that shit with all the supplies being easy to buy locally. Heroin is sold in huge amounts by drug traffickers for the shear profit off all the millions of junkies in the world. Lsd doesnt have a demand like that and is EXTREMELY difficult to manufacture. Takes an incredible amount of knowledge and lab supplies/ingredients that are extremely illegal/difficult to get. Heroin and meth users Ive observed also tend to try to get people around them using as well in order to use them to buy drugs for them both, and while i have mostly good things to say about lsd, Im not gonna bullshit people into trying it.
Neither - I know some of the people who are involved in putting it on and playing. I would go in a heartbeat if I was closer. The Chill... are very nice people.
