First, I've done acid a few times now. Always with the same friend and usually doing the same things. We usually take a walk or a few and usually late at night. However, I've moved away to a new town and am contemplating taking my first acid trip alone. I usually enjoy taking walks and being outside while tripping but I will probably have to hang out in the apartment. What are some tips and ideas of how to make sure I have an enjoyable trip? I am contemplating turning off my phone while doing it as not to freak out with it being my first time and start texting or calling anyone. Any certain foods or drinks I should make sure I have stocked? Any activities to do? Any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

Listen to Music, explore meditation or closing your eyes, those are probably the two main recommendations if you are confined in doors. Acid suppresses my appetite so I rarely eat while on it but I see fruits as a common recommendation, have plenty of water at the ready.

Checking out visualizers and art can be pretty interesting as well.

Find a way to at least go outside for a little while. Connect with your new geography. Walking is great because it diverts the nervous energy to some use and frees the mind to stay more focused. I got to where I didn't enjoy tripping indoors at all. I always gravitated to the places with the least reminders of the civilized world. All the attendant associations tend to weigh a person down, IMO.

Listen to music and watch the walls melt...

    Always worked for me.
