Excellent, then you are familiar with states of complete obliteration. Just know that mushroom obliteration is like a delicate back rub compared to getting trampled by a heard of planets on DPT. He should not do DPT. This is not for the scared. He needs to get comfortable with common and moderately high doses of "normal" psychedelics first IMO. Of course you can say fuck it and just pop his cherry with 200mg his first time, but there is an element of rudeness there, in that he cannot possibly know what that is, and so you cannot possibly get his consent for that. In my opinion he is not ready for this psychologically. This is what 80mg did to me: http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=361720&f=126 Tough question. In a sense they are useless. They will be no help. If you need help being told "Don't worry, you're not dying, remember they said it would be like this" then have one. Or you can just write this down on a piece of paper, recite it as a mantra, and commit yourself. You are the one taking the journey, there is no help. This is for you, this advice. For less experienced people like your friend, absolutely necessary is a trip sitter. Untold damage could be done without one.
Mr. Writer or anyone for that matter, do you recommend getting a testing kit and if so what do you recommend?
no i don't. The only affordable and available testing kits out there are for MDMA and MDMA mimics, not for general RCs. If you're getting it from a reputable and legit RC company you won't need to test it realistically. You would need a friend with a Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer to determine content/purity of a sample. Remember these guys ship out hundreds of packs a day, it's their business.
Well...you can get a EZ test kit for an afordable price. With that you can determin if what you bought is what you got. It can't tell you about purity of the product though. It can test most of the RC's on the market too. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquis_reagent http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?p=5084928 http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/mdma_faq_testing_kits.shtml
it's no good because any color you get will correspond to like 5 different possible results. If you then sampled it yourself you could probably figure out which of those 5 but the point is to run the test to make sure it is what it is before sampling it
Yes of course, but since it's only a relative small group of people who has access to GC/MS analysis and the fact that you can narrow in and eliminate variables in regards to which chemical you got, I think it's a great method. There is a (slight) chance that the people who got Bromo-Dragonfly instead of 2C-B-FLY may have been alive today, if they had used a EZ test kit. Not that it's 100% bulletproof method (far from), but maybe they would have noticed something was up and not just jumped in by testing 18mg in the first try.
