you might be right McCarthyism killed the communist party, which many Hollywood elite supported, since then, theres been no choice in usa.
Ted Cruz is effectively the Speaker of the House. Boehner lets people like Cruz dictate his behavior. In his own mind, Cruz feels he gets some political mileage out of this for himself and his potential run for the Presidency in 2016. Cruz said this summer that he would be renouncing his Canadian citizenship, further fueling speculation that he's running in 2016.
Some people are venting their anger at the park rangers. This incident happened between Congressman Randy Neugebauer and a ranger. It's not the ranger's fault that the park is closed. http://www.nbcwashington.com/news/l...nger-Over-Closed-WWII-Memorial-226209781.html
And his opponents already have all the TV commercial footage they need to use against him; highlights from his overnight filibuster two weeks ago! So many clips where he looks foolish. Everybody is supposed to go back to work this morning, even though the bill was signed less than seven hours ago, shortly before midnight, extending spending authority into early January.
"Extending spending authority" That's the problem. Thanks for stating it. We are on the hook for "non essentials". Once again , taxation without representation. Yes, Paul and Cruz seem to be the best choice. Both need to get tough on illegals. deportation still needs to be discussed. If one more muslim attack occurs , detention centers for terrorists and border offenders need to explored. National Border Service and Protection are clearly expressed in the Constitution. Sadly , the current regime has failed pathetically. Seeing that most folks on this site are so concerned about the "non essentials" ; they get back pay. The taxpayer still must treat the civil servant as an expense. Now that "it" has ended ; barry can create an EO directing handles to be replaced on drinking fountains , toilets at highway rest stops can once again be cleaned ; well at least somewhat. Back to normal?
Foolish? Eye of the beholder I guess. Yeah, I have a few buddies who were out of work for the shutdown and they were informed to report as normal this morning.
Riptide, you are officially the worst poster on this site. Congrats. Let me write your reply for you: Blah, blah, blah, barry, oby, moslem, muslim, blah blah blah.
Of the 3 above afore mentioned postees ; How many are American Citizens? OK , that's at least one down. How many are clueless? Hmmmm. How many are White House kool aid drinkers? OK , I'm feeling pretty good this morning. Next?
I love it when you try and use big boy grammar and get it wrong.... Clueless? Nope. White House kool aid drinker? Nope. Fuck that guy. Feeling pretty good? I don't think you fully grasp what is going on here.
He is feeling pretty good because he has simplified the situation in something he can understand (or so it seems).
Hey sheeple !!!! Has your gubmint raided your 401 yet? Check Reuters Sept 4 through oh about 6. Chris Borowski from Warsaw reports Polish officials declaring they will "submit to state" private pension funds. This , folks is why we shut down. As boomers such as ourselves seek retirement ; the system becomes more taxed. Excuse the pun. Barry is getting bold ; when do you shills and suk-ups think the regime will resort to pulling this shit?
Translate this- http://conservativevideos.com/2013/10/liberals-blame-government-shutdown-george-w-bush/ Maybe, if this was his first term. But it's not. It's his second.
LOL Thanks Logan. Pretty funny. At least blame those evil Koch's. Ha. New thread? Where are you hiding your 401?
President Obama right now delivered an excellent speech about the sorry mess of the sort-of-resolved government shutdown. I agreed with everything he said. He makes so much sense compared to the ravings of the Tea Party.
