Asmodean, I don't know why you bother with this guy. I applaud your patience in dealing with his stubborn ignorance, but it seems so pointless. He appears completely immune to logic and reason.

 

It seems if you insist on normal conversating (which is not 100% the same as PC) he is not that bad. After all if I hadn't bothered he would probably still assume sharia is installed in all countries with a muslim majority.

I only know for a fact that Saudi Arabia forbids women to drive but it wouldn't actually suprise me it's also the case in countries like Iran or Afghanistan. I'm not sure though.

So maybe it's Karma? All I can say is that is not going to fly here, regardless of larger agendas. Close to Sharia? No, but a lot closer than any other western nation that comes to mind.

But either way, I'd start to rethink your opinions on 'feeling safe' and 'gun owners are paranoid conservatives'..

It's old news. Abu Hamza (the cleric you see kneeling at the beginning of your video) has been extradited to the US. The so-called 'Sharia Patrols' lasted maybe six months. Possibly not even that long. And there were about a dozen people involved (Gosh, lock up your daughters). There have been counter protests by apposing right-wing ****'s The leader recently left because he said 10% were a bunch of ****'s (I'd go as high as 100%.)

So I do end up talking about U.S issues - which can also encompass universal themes.

I've been on forums where it is more UKcentric, and it ends up focusing on Margaret Thatcher and the closing of the Mines. So, it's not so interesting.

I understand what you're saying...but- while the nations invaded by the UK may be reasonably accurate, there are a lot of actual physical territories included in those nations that weren't. Like Greenland and Alaska. The UK may have invaded Denmark, but I don't recall history saying anything about Greenland. Or Iceland. Or Alaska. And there are others as well. So while I get the meaning, the impression is deceiving.

I wonder what the US will do when another country pulls the same stunt. Coming here, and arresting an American, without following the "due process". To the US it'd be war. But if the US does it, it's ok? Something's wrong about that picture (and I'm an American!).

I personally don't care for Sharia law, but then as us white boys invaded many cultures in the past centuries, it is possible that we could be invaded by a non-white culture and forced to live under their rules and laws.

Funny how that happens, huh? Just because they have guns all of a sudden they are so special and omnipotent. Look at the issue over Starbucks. I find this also dissappointing, after all WE DID conclude your conviction about sharia in muslim countries was based on an assumption. I didn't say anything other bad about you, actually I felt I was defending you a bit. Coming around, which I specifically mentioned is not giving in or acting PC. It is simply more constructive and interesting to share our opinions sincere... Which makes me think:
