i hope OP is a troll, because otherwise, his noob is showing. the action words (verbs) most often used are 'smoke' and 'vape' as in "i smoked a fat joint"
usually, the method of imbibing is irrelevant, just that you have acheived the state of 'high' is sufficient to mention, as in "bump if you are stoned"
and a period of highness is not generally referred to as a 'trip', and actually i dont think there is a corresponding weed related word. more often, at least personally, it seems that after the fact you have to explain your level of high. stoned? baked? toasted? fried? (hungry yet? lol)

OP, most of us have smoked the reefer for a good long while, and while we were all noobs once, it seems that many newer noobs are just embarrassing us all. of course, in 9th grade i thought pot, weed, and marijuana were 3 different things, but i didnt go posting stupid threads about it either.
