There is a big difference between aborting a fetus and killing a three year old child. People should be in control of their own bodies. Hell, it's not as if the majority of people in the world have any genuine control over other aspects of their lives.
If women are compelled by the State to carry babies against their will, a future in which women are little more than baby incubators does not seem far fetched.

Although I believe life begins at conception, a blastocyst is not only nonsentient, it is nonviable. If a fetus is viable outside the womb without heroic measures being taken, to me, it is a person and ought not be killed.

I am going on 8 months pregnant right now, with my first daughter. I am very greatful of the choice I have made, being the right age and also being married. It is my choice, it is any womans choice when it comes to this issue because most of the time the men really dont stick around for the love and suport that they gave false hopes to in the first place and leaves women stuck with an issue that is more powerful then anything that we'll probably ever have to decide so many things about it. I really dont think that our government would make abortion illegal because 1, there are so many abortion clinics out there and it actually has become a apart of a birthcontrol method. 2, the government gets so much tax due to these authorized services being performed that there is really no way possible that they would take that cut out of theire own pockets. and 3, also on the government- if there becomes no right for abortion think of how many more people will be on Americas welfare system and having other offical guidence around all communities. The population would litterally ski rocket, think of how many abortions are performed every day, if we took that number and came up with the yearly amount, that sure would be alot of sad situations that babies are coming into this world. Woman dont just have abortions (just because) theres always a reason and usually a very good one that their deciding the right decisions for there selves and caring for a child to come into this world. There are many different reasons we have but the main one is basically I think if we can provide a beautiful life for someone else and most of time alot of us are not in that state in our lives to do so, so why asactly would we bring a person into what we dont even know is solid. I am pregnant like I said but I am pro-choice. It's my time, my babies time now to be able to have something in life and not depend on false hopes. :) Good luck to the women that need this issue talked about to them and I wish you luck in any choice you have. :)

i think abortion should be legal but with parents consent if under age 18. I also think that you have to have a good reason to why you want an abortion because some women look at abortion as an easy way to have sex all the time unprotected without paying for the pill and remembering to take it all the time at the same time. I dont know i think it should be legal for everyone even without parents consesnt but i also think you should have to have parents consent so its really hard for me to answer.

Without any disrespect but I think this is actually a topic for woman that are of age. I dont agree with your sentence on woman would need a very good reason to consider an abortion-I dont think any woman out ther having this procedure done actually has a bad reason for it. Also abortions are alot more exspensive then taking the pill and the pill is not 100 percent safe, I know many woman who were on the pill and still got pregnant, look at some statisics. This is a huge topic for many woman looking for advice on this matter through this board which they feel more then comfortable to be asking about and as your last sentence contains that you do not know how to answer this maybe you should not put in any advice, at least not to cause any confussion or negative feelings on the person whom posted this thread.

With society the way it is many young woman that need this procedure done due to illness or unablilty to care for a whole being coming into this world, there are quit alot of young ladies out ther already without two parents so I think your opinion on having both parents having to give consent is absolutly impossible.
