But he gets to see his kids when ever how ever wherever etc. When i know ppl that didn't do shit and they are fighting to see their kids. They want to stay int heir children lives but the "mothers" are turning the story around .... I've been in Law classes for hrs on end and the crap that the fathers have to go through to even get access or anything is herendous. There are DEAD beat mothers out there. Guys can't do this they are never here bull shit . Take a look at some mothers.

I see and take care of children whose lives are screwed up because of torn families and it takes 2.
Mothers are goody goody all the time no i'm not sexist either i just don't like to see mothers not telling their side of the story.

except that she's not deciding just for herself, but also for the baby and the father, and it's not HER body she's aborting. The government also tells you that you can't commit other acts of murder, and no one thinks that is scary, or an infringment of rights. You have no rights to take the life of another person, period.

Sadly in this country, abortion is a necessary evil.....very very evil. It will never go away until our country (and probably the rest of the world) realize that welfare is not "free money" for families who need it to survive, and charity is more than a tax write-off. You can't fight for the right for unborn children to live, and then let them die in the gutter when they become a financial burden to society. You can't be pro-life and anti-welfare.

But as long as abortion is legal, I think that any repeat offenders (like the ho on page 3 or 4) who have multiple abortions should be placed on mandatory birth control...more than pills that they might forget to take, but Depo Provera administered by people who can document it. Maybe that sounds harsh, but it's also harsh to kill 3-4-5 or more children all because you're a raging slut.

hmm my 16 year old friend is sorting out her abortion today actually... the condom ripped. the fetus is less than 5 weeks old. if she didn't have this abortion she would have to screw up the rest of her life, she wouldn't be able to get the education she wanted and her parents would probably chuck her out of the house. so yeah, i think it's the womens decision.

FDA considering new standards for birth control drugs

"Evidence Doesn't Matter" in APA Abortion Advocacy

The Pill – Progesterone only, low dose combination pills
The Physician’s Desk Reference lists the above hormonal contraceptives as having three mechanisms of action: 1) Prevent ovulation, 2) Thicken the cervical mucous to prevent sperm from entering the uterus and fallopian tube, and 3) Alter the lining of the uterus so implantation cannot take place. The third action, if and when it occurs, is abortifacient (meaning a human life has begun but cannot continue to develop without the nourishment provided through the mother’s uterine wall). Although pro-life physicians continue to debate if and how often hormonal contraceptives interfere with the implantation of an embryo, it is important to educate ourselves and our clients about this potential action of the Pill. Those who seek to protect the sanctity of human life from the point of fertilization should be cautious about taking any drug which could end the developing child’s life.

For further research, download or purchase the helpful booklet Does the Birth Control Pill Cause Abortions?
    Norplant
This implant is placed under the skin of the arm for up to a 5 year period. The progesterone hormone’s effect is to suppress ovulation, but after 2 years, there is a greater chance of break-through ovulation and fertilization. The hormone may prevent implantation of the embryo.

    Depo-Provera
This Progesterone (hormone) derivative is injected every 3 months to prevent a woman from ovulating, but it also alters the uterine lining. Break-through ovulation and fertilization may occur, though less frequently than with Norplant. The hormone may prevent implantation of the embryo.

    Morning after pill
Large doses of existing birth control pills (or another drug levonorgestrel, known as Plan B) are given up to 72 hours after intercourse to attempt to prevent the implantation of the embryo. A second dose is given 12 hours after the first one. The action of these large doses of hormones birth control pills work to prevent ovulation and/or fertilization.

    RU-486
When a woman is given RU-486 (also called Mifepristone), it kills her baby by interfering with progesterone, the hormone which keeps the baby implanted in the wall of the mother’s uterus. Two days later, the woman returns to the clinic to receive a prostaglandin drug which induces labor and expels the dead embryo (RU-486 is used until 7 weeks after the first day of her last menstrual period). If the baby hasn’t been expelled by the time the woman makes her third visit to the doctor, she will require a surgical abortion procedure (5-8% likelihood). Raymond, Klein & Dumble, the pro-abortion authors of RU486 Misconceptions, Myths and Morals, (IWT Pub, 1991) stress that RU-486 is not safe for women and list the following contraindications (reasons a person should not take RU-486): under age 18 or over 35; menstrual irregularities; history of fibroids, abnormal menstrual bleeding or endometriosis cervical incompetence, previous abortion, or abnormal pregnancies; pelvic inflammatory disease; recent use of IUD or the pill 3 months.

    Methotrexate & Misoprostol
Two drugs that were developed for cancer (methotrexate) and ulcer (misoprostol) treatment are now being used in combination to kill babies. Methotrexate is used to poison the baby and then Misoprostol empties the uterus of the baby. Keep in mind that Methotrexate is a chemotherapy drug with the potential for serious toxicity, which can result in the death of the mother as well as the baby. (Methotrexate & Misoprostol to Terminate Early Pregnancy, R. Hausknecht, New England Journal of Medicine, Vol.333, No. 9, 8/31/95, Pg. 537 and “Methotrexate & Misoprostol,” M. Creinin et al., JAMA, Oct. 19, 1994 and Physicians Desk Reference)

who said the guy wasnt for or against the abortion. if he was 16 like the girl was then i bet he wanted her to get the abortion. and yeah they have daycares and all that stuff out there but you have to remember only certain people are eligible for certain services and some areas offer close to nothing. daycare doesnt really do anything for the fact that youre a 16year old with a kid with no support from anyone. completely alone - thats being barely able to take care of herself..let alone with a kid.

As far as that goes, who are you to judge anyone for any reason at all? Sure you have no idea what her situation was, but six times? come on. Was she raped 6 times? Did the condom break 6 times? Was she a poor, innocent little girl who's been taken advantage of by all these evil men looking to impregnate her?

I doubt it. If she can afford an abortion, surely she could have afforded birth control! Any form of it! I think it's safe to assume at this point that this chic is little more than a raging whore who has little sense of responsibility, and with the callous way she proudly proclaimed her accomplishments, doesn't seem like she's has much respect for other living things. And BTW, it doesn't matter if she was 16, the daddy was 16, blah blah blah, whatever. The point is, one is more than enough. If you wanna play like an adult, you should take on the adult responsibilities as well. I understand if someone is forced to get an abortion as a last resort to an unwanted, unplanned pregnancy. What that girl did though was a completely different thing. I think we can safely say that, regardless of her "situation" (if there is one) that her actions are absolutely inexcusable.

EDIT: I am completely open-minded, but not to the point of being a total moron. There are alot of people out there who would throw around the word "judgemental" as a way to blow off the people who might dare to challenge their opinions and questionable actions. Remember that child rapist guy that kidnapped that boy and girl, murdered their parents and older brother, and eventually murdered the other boy before they finally found the girl and caught him? He had a blog and he liked to throw that word around a LOT. And people fell for it. Idiot people, PC people. Not comparing abortionists with child molestors, but the way people try to cover their actions by implying that someone who doesn't approve of their actions is "judging" them.
(http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102885) post I made regarding his blog.

Plz!! give me a break! For someone who works with a child care agency and is a day care assistant i should know.!! There are lots of support systems out there . The eyes of the young have to be open. Don't just sit there and try to make excuses for her because she was only "16". I was 16 too before and still did respite care. A matter of fact, i know of a 9 yrs old that had a baby, (not personally) but if she can do it and take care of her self plus rthe baby (the mother took care of it during the day ) Than obviously anyone can. I went to high school where there was 35 children born in 4 yrs and everyone of those girls had child care services dealt with welfare or some type. The gov't shall have something . Life is not ruined because of Some growing zygote, embryo and fetus growing in you.... If you ever had a abortion would you be proud to say Yah btw i had abortions when you could of had 3 children say.??? I would understand if there was a risky abnormality or rape. But 6 c'mon! If ppl can afford that they can afford protection or BC!!!

As for the guy... why would you assume he WANTED her to get an abortion. You know i'll tell you one thing, listen, not all fathers are dicks!

I usually don't talk about this...

I had an abortion a year ago. It was the right decision for me because at 17 I wasnt financially or emotionally stable enough to raise a child. It was honestly a fucked up experience in my life but I don't regret it. I'm simply not ready to be a mother. Adoption was considered but nine months of pregnancy was something i didnt want to go through as it would seriously interfere with my life and school.

It's a extremely personal experience and a difficult decision to make. No one should ever judge anyone who has had to make this decision. In my opinion pro-lifers need step back and worry about their own lives, because I doubt they're all perfect.

And i understand the right to free speech but is it really necessary for protesters to picket in front of abortion clinics?? Is it necessary for scared kids (or anyone) to have to see signs of mutilated fetuses? Besides those pictures are misleading, taken from late term abortions or whatever else, while most abortions happen before 12 weeks.

Coming from someone who has been through it I think abortion is entirely up to the woman. It really sickens me that certain men in power think they can take away our rights based solely on their religious beliefs. They need to get their heads out of their asses because not everyone is a bible-thumping hick.

Also we need birth control more available to everyone. It should be less expensive and cheaper in bulk. I know that i got pregnant when i ran out of pills and family planning closed before i could pick up a new pack. (not putting down family planning in anyway, it's a great organization) Now i always make sure i have enough money to buy at least 3 packs.

I've had an abortion too. I know what it's like. It fucking sucks having to make a decision like that, and it really sucks being the one who has to go through with it (the father wasted no time in letting me and others know what a murderous whore he thought I was, though he doesn't even see our son, doesn't pay child support, didn't want the baby, and his family paid for and insisted upon the abortion since we had recently broken up.) I think back on it, and I wonder if I could have done things differently. Back then, though, I didn't feel like I had a choice, trying to raise 2 kids on my own and then finding out I was pregnant with twins.

I know all to well that there is no way that abortions can be made illegal right now. It just shouldn't. It's still not right, but sometimes you're not left with many options. My biggest beef is with people who use it without any regard to the life they're destroying...because like it or not, it is a life. I also have a beef with people who drone on and on about their "rights" to their body. I can't say i enough....it's not your body. This is a lie told by pro-choicers to convince women that they're not actually killing anything, so it's okay...like cutting your hair, or getting lipo. Get an abortion if you must, but at least have the decency to admit what you're doing. I admit it. I fucked up by being in a bad relationship and sleeping with a guy I knew I wasn't going to be with much longer. Knowing that once we broke it off, I was gonna be on my own, with two children to support. I knew I wasn't on BC at the moment. And the babies growing in me were the ones who ended up paying for my fuck-up. I admit it, even though it still hurts. Maybe I'm just too emotional though about that sort of thing, but I'd rather be an over-emotional crybaby about it than some stone-hard slut who can do it 5 or 6 times without so much as an afterthought. (just to be sure, this hasn't been directed at you peace attack..I don't want you to get the wrong impression)

Yeah, I'll probably end up deleting this tomorrow.

Well i wasn't offended and i can see where your coming from. Some irresponsible people use it as a form of birth control when it should only be used as a last resort.

And yeah I walked into that clinic knowing that I was going to the life of my potential child. Pretty fucked up thought, huh? No matter how you look at it that's the way it is, you are ending a potential human life. It's sucks and it's in no way easy.

But still I dont think women should remain silent about their rights that are being threatened. They're ARE our bodies afterall and it is our choice whether we want to go through with a pregnancy.

They had some girls in my real life writing class do a report on it and they had some very interesting views, which helped me come to the conclusion on mine...

I really dont know about abortion i don't feel its right, and is defantly morally long if you look at from the perspective that the child is a living thing and that your basically murding it..

But at the same time i am in a sense for abortion, well maybe not really, but i dont feel that a woman should be able to have a child that would be brought into this world and would be considered a "mistake" (such as teen pregnancies are considered by some NOT ALL SOME) or brought into a life in which it wouldn't be loved..poverty is one thing that sometimes you can't change but i do feel if you plan to accept the fact that you are going to have a child then you should love it with all your heart and not treat it as a mistake..

I really dont know what i am trying to get to exactly, maybe just the basis that if you have a kid you need to take responsibility and not ship to other families that will surely love it and all, but it would never be same as being with your actual "parents".

So in other words to conclude i guess its a womans choice, but at the same time i dont feel its ethical but it is a method to in a sense "dispose" of a child..THats my view...So i guess i am nor for it or against it i am a third party, this is one topic i can't pick a side...because i feel sorry for the parents and the child...and both have consequences in the end fo the choice...

and i guess in some sense the father / family should have a say on the basis if they could provide a supportive safe home in which it can grow up in, but as I said...its still never changes the fact that they aren't with there real families and no child should be put through that...

I am putting forth a bit of my backround into my descion..but yeah i think you all get the drift...

As for putting forth and legalizing it or making it illegal thats rather stupid and pathetic but i think ti should be based on what is best for the child...seeing how the woman did get pregnant...
