Abortion

Luckily my family has never suffered such hardship ( I know you'd think that way because it's Eastern Europe but not everyone in that part of the world is poor, trust me ).

Insurance is the word you should be looking for, Grade A insurance, some I know can amount to millions depending on the death, if I accidentally die for instance, or my health is good but I get a heartattack ( from some shock or something ), otherwise if I knew death was coming like if I had cancer I'd plan for my family, it isn't that hard really.

 

Well, good insurance isn't the key to every problem that can arise for a woman after the father is gone. But, I'm glad you have some sort of a plan.

I just don't want to count on a guy. Or insurance, a lot of times they don't get millions.
And what if you were to have a divorce, and now you have a career and she doesn't.
Or worse, she stays in the marriage only because she can't get by on her own.

 

I second that. It is never good to depend on someone else, which is why I am focused on getting a career to support myself rather than marrying someone for that reason. If and when I get married, it will be because I love that person and want to share my life with him, not because I need someone to take care of me. In a perfect world, all marriages last forever and there are no difficult situations, but as well all know, we do not live in such a world.

 

I have mixed feelings about abortion. There are a few situations in which i would say it would be ok, but even then im not to for it. Say a woman gets raped and doesnt tell anyone because she is scared. she doesnt want to go to the doctor to get the emergency contraceptive. What if she ends up pregnant? It wasnt her fault it happened, it was the man who raped her. Even though the best choice would be to keep shim or put shim up for adoption if she couldnt bare to keep shim.(shim is a combination of she and him. i use it when talking about babies that i dont know the sex of) but what if she cant physically have a baby at the time she is pregnant? what if her body gave out if she had the baby. What other choices does she have left?

In other situations abortion should be illegal. Say its just a couple of teenagers having sex and the girl gets pregnant. Because they knew the risks and chose to be together, there should be no option to abort. You have to live with your choices in everything else you do, why should a child be different? If anything, if the mother doesnt want the baby, put shim up for adoption so shim can find a loving home.

Basically, if you make the choice to have sex and you end up pregnant, you shouldnt have the choice to abort.

 

Just to throw my opinion out there, I am not for abortion exactly, but I am not against it either. I believe that it is of course the womans ultimate decision being her body, her fetus and her life. I had a strong anti-abortion outlook, when I found out that a friend of mine had had one. I asked her why she had it and she said because when she found out she was pregnant she realized she had been doing drugs, drinking and a number of other activities that are proven to seriously damage a fetus. I asked her how she felt about her decision after it was over with and she said she hated herself for killing her child but she still believe that the decision was the right one, because she was in no position at the time to take care of a child properly giving it all the things that it needed and that she honestly believed that because of her activities during early pregnancy the child would have lacked the necessary mental requirements to make it in what is now a very obtrusive society. And I find myself respecting my friend more for her decision though I still don't like the idea of killing unborn children. What gets me is when women decide to take these unborn lives with so much potential just because they didn't want to be responsible and use protection and ended up with a "burden". It nicks me that people still don't understand that if you just use a simple condom you may never have to put yourself in the position to make the horrible "Keep it or don't" decision. I understand not all situations are like this. I had a pregnancy "scare" and realized that even if I did end up pregnant I would never be able to give up something that I already considered my own flesh and blood. I suppose what really affects me is that some women are so detached from what should be a very serious matter. In any event I'm done ranting on this subject, and thanks for reading.

OK, done shocking you now. I not only support a woman's right to abortion, I support failing fertility rates. Humans are a blight on the face of our mother earth. We need to die back for a few thousand years and let the earth repair herself.

oh sure. what about incestuous rape? A birth defect that will have the child never be able to enjoy normal life? it is NOT black and white, DO NOT infringe on someone elses choic because you will never understand someone's elses experiences. I agree there is a limit to when you should not have an abortion in the progress of development, but in the beginning, it is no ones choice but that woman.

 

If you truly believe that, then I give your opinion on abortion even less validity in my mind.
