I think wasting time is a pretty personal thing. It's all in how somebody looks at it. I believe that if you work at being responsible for yourself, help take up the slack for those who don't, and set a good example for those who try, then you have wasted nothing. If you keep learning and helping, you're not wasting time. As long as you are headed in a positive direction you don't waste time, you use it. Time does not care if it's wasted.

If life is only wasting time to you, then what gives you the motivation to get from one day to the next? If you spend your life wasting time, then don't expect to be just handed anything you want. Or do you think you are somehow OWED something for nothing? When someone can not even be responsible for the tiny space they take up in the world, the little bit of air they breathe, the food they consume and the shit they poop out, then what makes them any better than animals? You have to put in to take out, that's just how it works. Wasting time is wasting life.

 

I've answered this question several times, my motivation is that my life is not as bad as it could be and I owe it to myself to give it a shot.

As far as humans being no better than animals, we're not, in many ways we're so much worse.

Well the whole IQ thing is silly, it doesn't prove anything. I mean who's smarter.....a doctor or a mechanic? The mechanic can't stitch an open wound, but the doctor can't even change his own spark plugs.

I'm not saying that you're not smart, but I've seen some dumbasses score high on an IQ test.

 

That is true, and I did not mean that to sound like everyone with a high IQ is smart. My point was that MaximusXXX does not know me beyond reading my posts, so I do not feel that he has the right to insult my intelligence. Just because a person disagrees with someone else does not make that person unintelligent.

Well, unless Jesus comes into my house and informs me of the laws of the vagina, I am not going to buy into the "people who have abortions are going to hell" scare. People don't get abortions because they enjoy having them. They do what they feel is right in certain situations. I don't think that there is anything immoral about that. Unless a person is ever in that situation, there is no room to judge. I am sure that it is the hardest decision that a woman will ever make in her life, and I don't think that the government has any right to be in that decision.
