there is no need to abort babies when there are so many people out ther who can not have children and would love to adopt them

Here's the thing, euthanasia isn't legal and suicide is strongly discouraged, now if those two get solved, then you can argue in favor of abortion resulting in less people.

 

come on people, your life esence, your soul has verry little to do with a fetus, let alone a physical body. if you believe in reincarnation, death is just annother part of life even if abortion makes it a short one.

I was reading the first couple pages of posts, and I feel deeply offended for many reasons. First of all, MaximusXXX, females biologically have the ability to bear children, but they are in no way forced to. If females were strictly for being the pig-headed baby factory of your dreams, do you not think that they would reproduce without the aid of a male's sperm? By your reasoning, males are then simply put on Earth to be sperm donors and nothing more. Both males AND females contribute to reproduction. What you do not realize, my friend, is that males have no room to tell females what to do with their bodies. When you are the one with fluctuating hormones, carrying a child within you for nine months, and going through the pain of childbirth, maybe then your statements will be of more value to me. A female brought you into this world, so I suggest showing more respect.

Second of all, of course adoption would be the better choice, that is, if every child was adopted and into a loving family. You forgot to mention that part, didn't you? What about the children who hopelessly sit in orphanages or homes of abusive foster parents wondering why their biological parents did not want them? Trust me, it happens, and I know this on a personal level from knowing someone that went through this. Do you honestly think that these children have pleasant lives? I also happen to know someone that was unwanted by his mother, but his grandmother decided to take care of him, and his whole life he must live with the fact that his mother never wanted him. Can you say that you know how that feels?

Third of all, your racist remarks, and yes, I do find them racist, will not get you very far in life. I am a blend of Italian, Irish, and many other nationalities. You're starting to sound like Hitler with your comments about keeping pure breeds, and it is very offensive. This is a very touchy subject, but it is even more touchy when there is sexual discrimination and racisim involved.
