If you vacation abroad, you mingle with foreigners. And you've chosen to do so. So why is it such an issue when they (some of them) may move to the US, pay taxes and all that good stuff that US nationals do? Let's not forget, most Americans are immigrants or descendants of migrants.

Anyway:
We're nearly at the end of the alphabet so I'll chip in with this.

I'm so pleased someone else thinks the same (like me).
I know a guy from DC who was really pleased with himself for buying such a mattress.
He was a little annoyed when I explained that you can buy them in the UK for 500GBP and the crunch came when I explained the technology of a 'proper' mattress cannot be matched by foam.
We use the best pocket sprung mattresses (my O/h is an accommodation provider) and not one foam mattress is worth a cent.
The pocket sprung mattresses she uses are 500GBP, with numerous 5star TA reviews about the comfort of the beds.

 

Although rather expensive, this is one of the finest mattresses that you can get in the UK

The guarantee is 10 years and they will last double that,
They are single sided as you can see in the construction, but that is just as well, you would need a JCB to turn it over.

A few years ago, a guy bought a £700 foam mattress that was in a vacuum bag and rolled up. When you unrolled it on the bed it was about one inch thick. Then you cut the bag and it sort of exploded. I could not stop laughing.
It was literally like something out of a 1930's Laurel and Hardy film.
