A fellow partaker in the life and travail of the earth ..... In colonial Boston the Sons of Liberty met under an American elm tree dubbed the Liberty Tree until it was cut down in 1775 by British loyalists. Herbie "The 240 Year Old Elm Tree" slated to be cut-down Jan 18, 2010 Hotwater
For me, a tree is a piece of wood we can make all sorts of nice stuff from (like wooden shoes and spoons) plus it is fuel for campfires.
Alright, I'll tell you. Trees are Beings that were thrown down upon the Earth, head first. It is their legs and feet that are skyward. Their heads are buried in the Earth so as to be communicators between Earth and the Universe. Anyway, if you uproot a tree and turn it on it's side .. the roots and limbs and branches make me think of brains. The left hemisphere is like the roots and the right hemisphere is like the limbs and branches. Yeah, trees and brains. Same thing. Sorta.
Eternity is greater than infinity. Eternity is the life cycle of the Universe. The Universe has a beginning and an end, but the cycle repeats from eternity to eternity .. making life everlasting. There is a time when the entire Universe will be all light, no darkness whatsoever. Most people will not understand it.
