IDEAS NEEDED!!

What would be a good flag pole to stand maybe 8-12ft or more in the air? The flag will be 900mmx600mm so not huge.

I was thinking like a big fishing rod type material but I have no idea what that would be. :unsure:

I'm thinking a long piece of pvc pipe. And I'll just dig it into the ground. but, it can't be too long I can not bring it so maybe a long piece and then another the same length but slightly thinner. Drill holes in both, thin pipe inside thick pipe until holes line up, throw in a nut and bolt and doneski?

There has been no coverage of the devastating fires in the west on the news here. It has all been the hurricane and that is it.

The giant red sequoia forest has been burning. :bigcry:

It is possible to brave through a hurricane, to a certain degree...you can't brave though a fire.
