just heard a good ol boy in texas on the news special about the flood......I quote ''we are a little different here I texas...we look after our own''.......different then where pal?.....everywhere looks after their own.....plus their is thousands of volunteers flooding in from other states....

 

^^^ ah yes...an example of the brilliance here in the states. Granted, in this particular instance it was said in Texas; but, that kind of thinking is totally par for the course. smh

They are even running all kinds of donations and plans for going to Texas from here, as in not just SC but from my town.

Greenville roads and traffic are godawful. There was just no foresight on the part of the city and county officials. They've been throwing all this money towards attracting business and revitalizing downtown and making sure we appear on every top ten "cool and upcoming city" list in the last 5 years..and this growth started a couple of decades ago, it isnt like it came out of nowhere. And yet they're only just NOW in the last year widening 85 where it backs up every single fooging day from Pelham to mauldin..the interstate looks like it belongs in a third world country through that stretch. #yeahTHATgreenville They should have fixed it 15 years ago before all this growth

And dont even get me started on woodruff rd.

I just spent an hour on 85 on my commute home so I'm feeling bitter lol. /rant

 

I dot even have to stop for stop signs where I live....almost no one does....in the village you go slow through them but there is a couple where you cn see for quite a ways and you can go through those as fast as you want

 

I have no place to put more weed....plus it had to be kids because these morons pulled plants that were not eve close to being ready.....at least a month before anything is ripe out doors

I have heard that....during a show here I was a stage hand and the ''up with people players'' was performing and I hit it off with a hottie from texas...my dad provided me a limo to take her to diner....she was beautiful and a former teen texas contestant...I remember she wore a fur coat made of possum...I thought of her when the flooding happened....
