EBays GSP is great for sellers and shitty for buyers.

I've lost alot of sales due to using GSP.

I remember a sale I had for a 86' Yamaha outboard engine drain plug (discontinued part). It was a NIB plug that I bought for $4.50 decades ago that laid around in my parts bin. It sold on a eBay bidding auction for 30 bucks to a guy that lived in Canada. After sale price, taxes, duties ,shipping. The guy was irate. We spoke to each other about how we could fix the situation.

We ended up deciding to cancel the sale mutually on eBay. He let me keep the 30 paypal dollars and I shipped him the part for .....get this... $3 bucks. All I had to fill out was some little white or green customs form(can't remember color) I declared the value of the plug .50 cents. Lol.

The guy couldn't have been happier. Me too.

On the other side of the coin, I use GSP with my bigger more expensive items. I've gotten ripped off by some customers in Europe and South America. Never again thanks to GSP.

Once I ship the international item to Erlanger KY. They take care of all my headaches. I've not had a claim using GSP. Hope you get your items sooner than later.

Gonna be pushing 100 this week. You know what no one tells transplants to SoCal? That fall is the hottest time of year.

Some of you are talking about how "fall is in the air" cooler temperatures and whatnot. Yeah, fall is in the air alright. Hot, stagnant air. Soon, the hot winds will blow.

Sunshine, gay-friendly WeHo, beaches, bitches, beers, fish tacos, year-round surfing, friendly and laid back attitudes, no more shoveling snow...

    You get the idea...

If you're fortunate enough to live near where you work, it's not so bad. And their are neighborhoods that are walkable.

If you have to take three different freeways to get to work, you'll go nuts. And don't even get me started on going to the gas pump.

A lot of Calfornia doesn't really have any seasons. Normal temps are around 70 to 80.

I prefer seasons. I say I like winter but at the same time I can't imagine handling what they deal with in Canada. SC suits me well in many ways except for the backasswards laws...and I've just learned to deal with them. (hide a certain thing I'm fairly determined to do ;) )

I don't like the really hot, humid summers; but, again I do like the contrast in weather.

Aside from the weather not appealing to me, I seriously could not handle the driving in California. For real...I think I would either have to work from home or get disabilty. I can see myself getting serious agoraphobia. Once I had my BIL make a little video of he and my brother simply going out to eat (the driving)...it wasn't a far away place. It was some place they enjoy gong to...OMG!!! There are practically highways EVERYWHERE to take a person to every little place. It seems like all of these "super roads" have 4 or 5 lanes going in one direction.

oh hell no...give me SC roads, even with the crappy drivers. lol

I also have problems driving to and in Greenville...its considered a "metropolitan city"...along with Charleston. However, Charleston isn't bad...I've driven around Charleston. lol

edit: I feel I must add that I am surrounded by people that feel/believe the absolute opposite of me re politics...but that would be the same almost anywhere in my desired location - the southeast. I'm lucky that I do have a few very good friends (and family in California lol) that view the political arena the same as I do.
