Tale for the Time Being is a book by Ruth Ozeki.

I am reading this book of contemporary fiction and want to share it with my people.

This was a the 2013 Man Booker prize finalist.

Tells a deeply engaging tale of Nao, a time being, and the search for a reason for life. Told in a detailed and wonderful way, that keeps you turning over rocks at every page.

    Highly recommend. Anyone reading this?

    Who are your people?

No, I am not reading this book you are typing of, however it does sound philosophical and interesting. I love fiction that has underlying wisdom about finding deeper meaning in life. I'll keep my eyes open for this title, the next time I am at the used bookstore.

    Thanks for the recommendation.
