Paducah, KY, a city near me, has a floodwall along the Ohio River that has been painted with murals depicting the history of the city.
That's great Ibiza! I have spent time on that street. 4th Avenue was THE place to find weed back in the late '90s. Many great shops and places to eats along that street... ending at a nice park. There was a place about halfway along the street that was empty with a big wall, they would have outdoor concerts there from time to time... I am thinking this is that wall. It is a fine piece of art in my opinion Thanks for sharing that!
Jim Morrison, Jerry Garcia, Bob Marley, Janis Joplin, The Beatles and Frank Zappa. Awesome mural! Sadly though, of the nine people pictured, seven are long gone.
I was trying to figure out what they all had in common. I was thinking LSD but I don't know if Janis, Marley, or Zappa were on about it as much as the Beatles, Jim Morrison, or Jerry Garcia.
They all tried LSD except Zappa, who amazingly wasn't into drugs except for nicotine and caffeine and drank moderately.
Found this one in Brooklyn a while back. I didn't have a good camera at the time. Somewhere in the Bronx Two more in Harlem Plenty of these all over New York.
