I've seen this stuff before. Seen an alligator fight it's way out of one too last meal it ever had.

 

I saw both snakes and crocodiles in Australia, but never mortal combat between them. Those stills are amazing. (Video would have been even
better.)

Didn't know that a snake could win. Prior comments must be right that it was not an adult croc.

Closest video I have, not equivalent to those great stills, is alligator wrestling in Florida USA, on a native American reservation in the Everglades area. The gator is supposed to always lose. But one human mistake suggests that a gator could permanently retire any opponent.
