I really hope they get something figured out for you guys. It would be one thing to at least know what the problem is but....to not know is frustrating as hell. We had to deal with that with my dad. It took time and lots of tests to get a diagnosis.

Ha! Woke up at 5:30...then 6....then 6:30, etc. Didn't actually get out of bed until 8:30 or so.

Nice day today. Gonna chill on the deck for a while and then get some outdoor stuff done today. Still too wet to do anything with the rest of these leaves but they know they are defeated. They can sense it. I'll let them wallow in their fear and new-found sense of inferiority until they dry out again.

The new office building I'm working on has a 13th level.

A 13th floor is bad luck, so they now call it a 'level', lol.

should have a little fuel pump built into the side of carb then...low speed jet is right below that ....on snowblowers i just clean the jet then blow air in the carb passages and that works 99% of the time withiout even taking off the carb

    you shouldnt need a kit

I was wrong about wet leaves. That things sucks them right up. Getting rid of a lot of leaves today.

Funny thing....this morning my daughter and I went out back to remove the post, chicken wire, etc from three garden plots which we haven't even planted for a couple of seasons. Going to reseed them with grass this afternoon. So I was pulling the little posts and chicken wire and told her to start pulling up that black, fabric stuff that keeps weeds out. There was a 7-8 inch little Garter snake under there. She nearly shit her pants! I just laughed and moved it to a safer spot. She said she was done if there were anymore. I told her they are highly territorial so that shouldn't be a problem. She wasn't happy when we found 7 more though. Ah....fun times! At least she stuck it out until we were done. I like those little snakes. We have a ton of them. (Partially my fault but that's a different story).

Up to ten snakes now....not including the ones I'm pretty sure I've found twice (since they were where I've been moving them to). Got everything out of those gardens, mowed down any taller grass on the edges and I'm ready to plant some grass seed now. I've been tired of mowing around those spots for the last two years....considering they weren't even being used.

Got enough mowing done, right before it started spitting rain. The whole entryway up the driveway and over by the park bench... Some of that has never been properly mowed since I've lived here.

The reason I would get a carb kit for this is I want to rebuild that fuel pump also, and the kit comes with the rubber diaphragm for that... Also the plug to re-cover that jet you mention. Having new "everything else" would just be nice. Throttle shaft isn't worn so I should be good to go after a nice rebuild. After those belts broke in the speed is back to where it was... There's nowhere here that 7th gear is appropriate. :D ha.

New seat is way less fatiguing too. Nice!

it might not have a plug....

its just a useless plastic cap some of the low emissions carbs to fool people into thinking there isnt anything there because they dont want people playing with the jets

So, I finally got hubby to turn his attention to the sores on his feet and legs. He is so hard-headed and stubborn. I really do think it's part of a mental decline but anyway...

Apart from having an infected wound on his lower leg and another on top of his foot, he has one toe that is dark purple. He says it scares him enough to want to go to the doctor tomorrow if it's not better.

He always says that he doesn't have time to take care of his wounds. He ordered special wound healing bandages that arrived on Monday. This morning is the first time that he has soaked the wounds, getting ready to put the bandages on. Yesterday, he told me that it would take him a minimum of 4 hours prep time before putting the damn bandages on.

    Seriously.

I do the best I can with him, encouraging him to take care of himself and trying to allow him to do things his own way, in his own time, but jesus h. christ, it's so fucking frustrating.

No...when outside, who has time or desire to run inside to the bathroom? :D
and i drink alot of fluid all day....so I have to pee alot.....on long car trips, I take a pee cup, so time is not wasted stopping somewhere to use restroom.

Nah... It's a metal plug. When I said "non-adjustable carb" yesterday, that was from looking at my carb, not looking on the internet.

To be sure...I'm not getting rid of all of our garden space. We still have all the raised beds. The spot I got rid of just wasn't a very good/productive area at all.

I've got some grass seed to put out too... Been leveling an area in the backyard near where the well pit used to be. Waiting for the rain to soften it up again since I leveled it last week. Hope the birds don't think it's food.

My daughter and her girlfriend were drinking beer yesterday afternoon before I dropped them off at the transit station to go to the 420 Festival.

We pulled up to the transit station in the middle of the broad daylight and they instruct me to drive to the most vacant end of the parking lot but to park right next to the only car there.

They both dropped trou and peed beside the car.

The parking lot, in that area, is bordered by three streets full of moving traffic. Plus there were transit police cars parked, which they assured me were empty.

    I couldn't believe it.

It made me so nervous but I ended up in hysterical laughter before it was over having hubby hand them napkins from the glove box because they both got out there with no paper.

In their defense, their is one station on the whole line that has restroom facilities.
