Why am I awake right now? That's lame!

And see? I predicted posting some stupid shit in post #368. A couple of hours later I was rambling on about whatever the fuck was on my mind in post #367. Can't edit redundancies now either.

Clocks go back an hour here tonight. Unfortunately I'm on night shift, it's only 22:45 and I'm already wishing I brought my earplugs to listen to some music.

Rural Ohio has become the new redneck state... In some ways worse than the south circa 1950.

Having to see and deal with the "Ohio rednecks" whenever I go out somewhere...

If I dressed in cammo and didn't comb my hair or put it in a pony tail I would look like a cast member from that "Duck Dynasty" show, or what ever it's called. (never saw it, just going by the crap walmart sells) To the rednecks I would be a hero...

Since I dress in black and wear a black leather jacket and black leather hat I suddenly become the "enemy"...

I guess the clothes do make the man.

The other thing about these particular guys... They are constantly pissed off about everything. Being civil towards them just makes them more angry.

Most of the rednecks around here are alright. They don't bother me and I don't bother them. I'm friends with a few rednecks too. It's good to have at least one redneck friend.

Edit to say...the ones I know aren't the ignorant, racist type of rednecks. They're actually pretty smart and open-minded. They just like their trucks, cheap beer, boots, etc.

The neighbor across the road that gave me the Ranch King Pro lawn tractor last year, not the antique tractor a different one, found the rear frame section and a few other parts and gave them to me today. Last month I got the mower deck functioning, and these other parts should complete the unit. I still need back tires and have to go through the whole unit to get it running but I should have two good mowers in the "not to distant future". He also said he is swapping tires on his John Deere and I can have the old tires which are still in good shape. (I've seen them and didn't notice that they were worn or cracked, so they should be fine) Got a new battery today to have a spare, wallyworld had them on sale... So I should be good to go. 20 hp Kohler engine, 7 speed transaxle, 46 inch deck with new blades and all the belts look new...

Worked with the John Deere all afternoon moving brush around up by "My Land!" getting ready for that burn pile... Drug some of those fence posts I have up there too. This neighbor is on the zoning board and doesn't think a fence is any problem, he said "Build it" but loaned me his zoning book to look for any fence ordinances... He doesn't think there are any in there. :) I should be good to go on that too.... except for affording the fence. Field is still somewhat muddy but John Deere with chains had no problems. I can at least plant those posts across the field and put up wire later.

He asked why I had the posted sign up and the gate closed, so I told him. He just grinned. :D I noticed later that he had some post-it notes in the zoning manual marking "Towers" and "Wind Turbine" rulings. [IMG]

I'm tired, have had some shots of coffee liqueur, a cup of milk, 2 "aleve pm" tablets and 15 gram of valium. I'm not counting the last firecracker I had around 11:30 or so.

I'm hoping for a nice restful, pain-free sleep here. :)

Hope everyone has a nice holiday season here coming up. The vernal equinox has happened and buzzards are a buzzing and things are happening.

even if I feel like a train has run over my back and then backed up on my hands sometimes. ;)

its still good to see the new green come out and up each year, ya know... :sunny:

My brother and his spouse are going to visit in less than a month, and I have to completely clean and wipe and prepare the house inside and outside, for their annual visitation. I cannot (and won't) even begin to tell or describe all I have to accomplish.

It's like I'm staggered to think of it. :dizzy2: and [IMG] lol

deargod I believe I could prepare and climb Mt Everest easier than I can accomplish this. :-O
