It's going to hit 60 degrees today... maybe.

Gonna do a burn pile up on that piece of property that's mine, but fatfuckfarmer has been using. There's a bunch of brush and garbage wood that needs to go away up in that area and bare ground to do it on. Winds are going to be low so it's THE day. Yesterday they actually put out a burn/fire danger warning... Really? They need to warn people to not burn when there's a steady 25+ mph wind and dry conditions.... Seriously? Why are people so stupid to actually try to do burn piles when it's that windy. Idiots.

I was up there for a few yesterday, closed the lower gate which is mine, drug out a dead elm and cut it up for firewood. Interestingly there are a few patches of grass up there despite the constant RoundUp use. Gonna put up my POSTED sign again with a much improved mounting system. He's not going to rip this one down unless he brings tools. If he enters my property he's trespassing and I'll call the Sheriff's office. If he wants to start a fight that he is going to lose.... Well, that's his problem. He ain't gonna win this time.

I still have to find two survey pins (3 foot re-bar stakes, capped with name and code numbers) before I install fencing but I will be well within my line today. If those pins are missing or damaged, there's a hefty fine for that... Yeah I'm gonna be an asshole that fatfuckfarmer is not going to want to mess with. He can piss and moan as much as he wants, or he can just piss off. His choice.

    No more Mister Nice Guy...

Could you not make a stencil and paint the trespassing onto trees within your property line. Hard to remove and fairly cheap to do.

I have inside shoes that I slip on when I come home that are open sandals. None of us wear outdoor shoes inside. Bare feet and socks when it is warmer as the hardwood and ceramic are cooler in winter for bare feet.

I've repaired the official sign that was torn down last year. Mounted it to a board that has a florescent orange border, covered it with Plexiglas, and it will be mounted with square drive screws onto the treated timbers the gate is mounted to....

He's gonna have to go get better tools.

    Yeah.... I'm THAT guy.

I would think it will take a long time for you to do that. If the person lives there is a feeling of joy but when they do not there is a sadness and horror that comes with being involved in trying to rescue them.

    Big hugs to you!

Sorry to hear about that tipsy.... That's gotta be tough to deal with.

    ___________________________________

Didn't have the burn pile after all, but did drag some stuff over where it's going to be... to much more to drag over there today and i'm beat. Would have been a good day for it as far as wind goes and that area where I'm building the pile is bare but I'll wait for some things to green up some.

I did find my survey markers though and painted them. [IMG] Then drove a metal stake at each one as a marker and two stakes where the line crosses the field as a reference line... Painted florescent orange also. Now I need to acquire 150 feet of fence to cross the field and another 350 feet of permanent snow fence to border the section that parallel's my driveway. (That's where I get the snow drifting in the winter.) The snow fence will also keep him (FFFarmer) from using my driveway to get to one of those fields he hasn't been paying rent on. That field connects to the other one he hasn't been paying rent on, if he clears some brush from disuse where they used to connect, and if he can figure out how to get to any them. He hasn't been using that path because he's been using my land instead. Now that I see the lines, he's also been farming about 4 feet on my side of the line where it parallels my driveway. Gotta cut a piece of chain to lock my back gate with too. Shut down!

I found out from my neighbor that even though the other fields have been farmed for some time, it wasn't FFFarmer doing it... There were at least 3 different guys over the years... He doesn't have a leg to stand on because it has to be a continuous 21 years by the same guy.

In general, he's gonna have one hell of a time getting to any of those fields he's been using without proper authority unless he owns a big helicopter. Fuck him!

Yeah... I'm gonna be an asshole and lock him out. My land, My rules.

The field in dispute that is mine is a little over an acre, now that I've measured it, that's what I have been thinking it was just by calibrated eyeball... There's some kind of Roundup resistant grass in a few places there too, still gonna need seed though. And a few choice trees... I finally will have my full 8.25 acre under my control. [IMG]
