Do the British here know the difference between the Northern and Southern Dutch accent?
I'm not british, but I'm sorry to admit that Austrians, at least this particular one, is clueless about the dutch accents, you don't often hear dutch.....
Where in Austria do you come from?
Vienna, but I've lived in Lower Austria too
I thought I recognised the Vienna accent!
Did you now...... Sorry to disappoint you, my learned friend, but my accent is more Lower Austrian, besides, my english is so impeccable
heehee, except for saying "my english is so impeccable" instead of "my english is impeccable." tiny difference, charming, but a difference that someone really listening may catch.
Sorry, I must have confused you with someone else.
Are you big, black, hairy, smelly, sweaty and horny?
I should have written soooooooooooooo, that's what I mean anyway....
Besides, I was joking, it being my third language, I can't help but make errors now and then....lol
A bear, you mean, nooooooo, I'm very small...... who could you have confused me with???
Mick Jagger perhaps?
AH! still cute and charming nonetheless.
*100, please confuse me with someone else, I might get insulted....
In that case I will confuse you with Madonna.
Now that is a little better, but you might take me as I am, no?
I take you in every possible position you want.
Hahaha........ you're cracking me up....., but to come back on topic, what is the major difference between the dutch accents?
The Southern accent is beautiful and sounds very friendly and has a certain careless ring to it and the Northern accent has lots of very ugly throat sounds.
Separate names with a comma.
