Do the British here know the difference between the Northern and Southern Dutch accent?

 

I'm not british, but I'm sorry to admit that Austrians, at least this particular one, is clueless about the dutch accents, you don't often hear dutch.....

Vienna, but I've lived in Lower Austria too

Hahaha........ you're cracking me up....., but to come back on topic, what is the major difference between the dutch accents?

 

The Southern accent is beautiful and sounds very friendly and has a certain careless ring to it and the Northern accent has lots of very ugly throat sounds.
