What I've noticed is that it might have to do with my menstrual cycles. When I'm super fertile I am attracted more to men, and when I'm not, I am to women. I think.

I read this last night & had to stop to think about it. For me the attraction(s) come along as they do & I just haven't stopped to keep track.

As I think back on my life though I would have to say that there have been some cycles to it but I can't say how much of that is due to jumping in full force once I figured out I was bi then getting scared straight by AIDS. I still was attracted to guys in my second time in the closet & every so often would just have to go out & have an encounter.

Now that I'm back out though I have had atttractions to either gender within minutes of each other or simultaneously like when I met a couple that both made me hot.

OK so how's that for waffeling. Honestly, any more in the past 4 years I have to say both.

 

I suppose that goes with the theory of inate desire to procreate. I have often wondered if that is in there for us bis.

As I was trying to figure myself out (not that I really have yet) I remembered something that the high school biology teacher said about all beings have this. Where it lead my addled brain at the time is that I like women to satisfy that urge as well as & guys for male bonding as well as sex. That was something like 20 years ago now & I had abandoned it thinking it was just another of my crazy ideas but you have brought it up for me again. HMMMM.
