sun, moon and ascendant are all in Pisces. Jupiter is in Pisces also. sometimes i feel so Piscean it freaks me out. as a side note, i have no earth signs in my chart whatsoever.

dear persephone: that is a hell of alot of pisces. it makes neptune a triple personal planet 4 u. u must get tired giving all the time (or merging with the other people) or do u err on the side of martyrdom? i ask because i have got a pisces moon and am trying to develop new directions. i reckon that the moon signifies what u were like in ur past life: like ur lineage. the ascendant and the north node of the moon signify what u intend this life's purpose to be. for women, venus tells u the kind of goddess archetype u want to create 4 urself (for guys mars can tell u the kind of god archetype u want to be this life round). jupiter's sign position and house shows u the best way to achieve ur life's purpose usually. so my dear, u were a piscean, are a piscean and wish to stay a piscean. i think that venus and the north node may indicate the non-piscean themes u have come here to work on. do u know what sign and house they r in? btw, how's demeter?

venus in aries. that's interesting. she is about as far away from pisces as u could get. she points to the kind of femininity u seek to develop: the wild woman archetype in this case (it's all about me, me, me!!!!). try reading a sun sign description of aries and see if u have any of these traits or tendencies. btw, there's nothing wrong in being so piscean. i believe that everyone chooses what they are born as, according to their needs and their ambitions to grow spiritually: obviously u took a saturation course in pisces. i've got a pisces moon and what i like about pisces is the ability it gives u to merge with other people and empathise. it also gives my mind and emotions a compassionate dimension. my north node is in the fifth house (leo) and jupiter is in leo, so i am working on being a self-centred ego maniac! which although is the antithesis of my pisces moon, feels good, but, as u can imagine, pretty different. ask your astrologer what house and sign your north node is in: these things all give u clues as to your original intention and plans and how best u can actualise these.

carfloydfan, i gave an answer to this one in the other thread u posted it in. as i said there u have an abundance of capricorn (this will be strong becuase there are heaps of planets situated around the AC) which means u need to learn not to take yourself too seriously. step back from intensity sometimes and giggle at the karmic joke of existense. also i've just noticed now that your aries moon is at slight cross puroposes with your capricorn ascendant (aries is not serious enough for capricorn's liking and capricorn is too uptight 4 aries). your moon represents the foundations of your life this time around. in other words u have already mastered aries mysteries before and in times of stress u will revert back to this because aries is what u know and feel at home with. when u r in over your head u can indulge yourself here and go out and kick a football: do the man's man number, engage in some aggressive play etc. it will do u good! another cross theme is the scorpio planets. saturn, pluto and the sun all in scorpio. these planets and particularly any hard anspects they make to the inner planets (sun, moon, venus, mars, mercury and jupiter) describes the kind of challenges, conflicts and tensions u have set up that will enable u to learn your lessons and fulfill your life purpose.

 

i noticed u said in an earlier post u think u r not serious, so forget what i said in that case. obviously your aries moon prevails here. howver, i would b willing to bet that when u get older the more serious side of u will come out, as a capricorn ascendant is not to be ignored.

 

yah, as a young child I was serious (kids tended to give me a hard time -rich snobs). I def. developed a good sense of humor as I grew older. but overall, i think I have a pretty nice balance of humor/seriousness ( i def have the patented scorpio stare/glare ). People always say I look older than what i am. they seem suprised when I say I am 20. I think that has to do with the capricorn. I also use to be agressive/hot headed sometimes as a child/young teen (one of my major aspects at the bottom mentions it) but as I have matured, I have overcome that and worked on it and have really become an easy going guy (as many of my other major aspects tell) who is actually very sensitive and emotional. I still get annoyed with my co workers sometimes. last night my friend pat was working so slow..ugghh..I couldn't understand what was taking him so long to do shit. People should be able to Find a pattern in your work, learn how to apply it and be effiecent..something he fails at. plus he says my classic rock music is putting him to sleep..other than that, i find when we start to talk about just anything (shooting the shit), my annoyance with him goes down. its those silent moments that get me thinking how ineffiencent he is. He doesn't even know I like to write despite being a good friend which is odd.

I also have a huuuuge desire to travel and get the HECK outta connecticut. That is def. something to do with the sag, I have a lot of that as you probably noticed. In fact, there is lots of fire in my chart. by numbers i think its 8 fire, 6 water, 5 earth, 3 air. but I def. have the scorpio traits down and people def. know. I don't think anything in my chart over powers that sun sign, haha. but maybe a little. I am def. not as secretive (though i do have them) as some scorpios and I am actually quite open when meeting new ppl and tell almost anything.

ps: people often say I have a lot of facial expression (when I feel like it at least). Often I'll make a funny face and they'll tell me to do it again..but usually its spur of the moment. I am sure those two gemini placements have something to do with that. but even in my gallery, i think there is a pic or two where i am making a face..maybe not, can't remember.

 

i'd have been surprised if u didn't show a strong capricorn side. u also have mars in capricorn, which 4 a guy is pretty significant. your mars tells u what kind of male archetype u seek to perfect in this life. my trusty book of shamanic astrology says that the capricorn archetype is "the Elder, the Prime Minister, the Lawgiver, the Responsible Elder and Good Provider, the Practical Businessman, the Exiled Scapegoat"... sound like u? as i said in another post somewhere, it helps to look at this in terms of archetypes: your old god (represented by your aries moon) was mars (ruler of aries) and your new god for this life is saturn (represnted by your mars in cap). the scorpio themes are important too. as well as the sun you have got pluto in scorpio (its own sign) but here the saturn theme is underlined again: the sun (and presumably also pluto) are in the tenth house: saturn's house. pluto is also one of your personal planets making his influence very strong. secretive can also equal private, like in the way u have not confided in pat that u write, for example. there's nothing wrong with that of course: i think lots of scorpios have had a hard time (witches being burnt at the stake is one scorpio image i get) that maybe they have had to be mysterious in order for the lineage to survive. i also should mention that having a strong scorpio influence makes u particularly sensitive to the vibrations of birth-death-rebirth and u may have found that u experienced a death, or a death made a major impression on u, when u were a child. u might also experience a sudden loss in your life and know what it feels like to 'lose everything' in order that u can become more spiritually advanced.

a scorpio in israel. geez, i think that would be tough 4 u: u would be in touch with death constantly, in a way people in australia (and the states) are not. you know, it wan't until i got touched alot by death (i have got a double moon in the eighth house: scorpio's house, and am unusually brought into touch with death: the day the sun transitted my moon in late february last i found my flatmate dead on the floor) that i started 2 c the value in ritual: y people get alot of comfort from it.

well here is my sister's chart. she is only 12 and she sometimes gets on my nerves cos she is so loud but a lot of the time she is always hugging and saying "I love you brutha" so she is pretty cool. but the last two weeks she has been driving my mom NUTS. so i wonder what you have to say or see about her chart and maybe how we will relate as siblongs.

hey carl, they say that people with an aquarius ascendant are trying to get off the wheel: meaning they are quite near the end of their cycles of birth-death-reincarnation. whatever, they do tend to go 4 the cosmic overview and as such as free thinkers and radicals in their own way. she also has got north node in the 11th house which is the house of aquarius, so in fact she's a double aquarian. they r ur uranians really. the first thing i noticed about your chart and ur sister's is that both of u have got kushy aspects: she's got the sun square uranus aspect and that's it for the hard ones. the moon has got a square to venus but that isn't too hard. it could be the source however of the tension between her and ur mum. venus is in sag, so she'll be another seeker of truth too. in fact sag people are also trying to get off the wheel. she should be quite a developed soul this little girl although u might not think so at the moment. she needs plenty of intellectual stimulation and purposeful activity and adventures because with so many comfy aspects she could easily get bored and overidentify with her moon which then becomes a source of attachments and addictions. and it's a pisces moon. that's all about collapsing ego boundaries and merging into the collective unconscious. she may find later on in life, if this is a problem, being in relationships where she gives and gives and gets nothing back. she needs to be encouraged to pursue her aquarian stuff in her sag-goddess way.

that makes sense actually c muse: in my humble opinion, u would be alot more aries than cancer because aries is your rising sign and u'll identify with aries people (that's fire). in a previous incarnation, they say the last one, u were an aquarian (that's air). if u have an aquarian moon it can be quite hard to learn about the feeling function of the water signs because aquarius tends to be an above the neck kinda sign, intellectual and cosmic, not personal and empathetic. often aquarian moons are very sensitive emotionally because it's all so new 4 them.

 

interesting. your mother has a taurean moon (past) and north lunar node in the second house of taurus (future). so she's undergoing taurean training this life although she will be very knowledgable of taurus business already. is she an earth mother kind of woman, your mum? whatever, she will be quite sensation based in her way of functioning i imagine: likes comfort, pleasure and intimacy. she's in a different tribe this time however, she's a cancer. what was said earlier about cancer people applies equally to your mum. remember that the cancer symbol signifies a pair of breasts, the big udder, so to speak. and for a mother cancer is an apt sign. she also has a lot of aquarius in her: mercury in aquarius (the archetype of the free thinker, the cosmic visionary) but it's venus in aquarius particularly that matters. as mentioned above venus in a woman's chart tells us about the style of femininity she wants to emulate. the shamanic astrology book says of venus in aqua: "as a cosmic visonary she seeks to improve the human condition. to teach self reliance in others. her freedom is her greatest treasure. people may think she is aloof and cool headed but she needs space to spread her wings in celestial bliss". sounds pretty hippy trippy, no? but she is here to attain freedom from emotional and physical entanglements and needs to be honoured 4 her mind. with mars in gemini she may well be attracted to people who r the joker types: quick witted, clever talkers and good bullshit artists. i have a gemini sun and mercury and know alot about this sign. i like gemini: u get the freedom to break the rules and the universe seems to support u in this. if a gemini wants to fly they may defy the laws of gravity. having jupiter in leo indicates that the best strategy 4 her to go forward to find meaning and purpose is through creating leo like experiences in her life. this is quite the antithesis of cancer. cancer nurtures others, leo nurtures his or her own amazingly big ego. i have the same contradiction in my chart: cancer rising and jupiter in leo. but what i've found is that when i put myself first and do what i want to do and not what everyone else wants me to do (and allow myself to be the centre of attention and radiate self-love) i always win. so there's a lot in that. i just don't imagine she will get a chance to practise being a leo until the nest is empty.
