If there was one peace of advice that you would pass on to youngsters attempting to follow in your footsteps, advice, wisdom, memory to learn from...what would it be and why? what effect did it have on you?
i would say... you have to live with the choices you make-especially the ones that have longlasting results so choose wisely..also do not waste your time on hate or perversion because time in this lifetime does run out. we are lightkeepers if we so choose it, preserving the light from lifetime to lifetime, from soul to soul, so that we all may become liberated and cease this rebirthing process. we are all one what we do to/for others we do to/for ourselves and vice versa.
o0o0 I gave a moose a muffin once... bad experience not as bad as when I gave a beer to a bear... oye lol
Moose don't drink beer?!?!? ... They drink juice! (havnt you heart the juice-drinking-moose campfire song?)
I thought of one piece of advice today....actually 2. these have worked for me so far but it took a long time to learn them. (and to conjure them in my weak mind , but this thread did make me think ) #1--you will regret more the things you DIDN'T do than those things you did do. even if you make a mistake you can learn from it, it's better than inertia. #2--don't try to please everyone else, it never works. do what your heart tells you to do (within reason) usually that will be the right course to take.
1. Beware of propaganda, especially all the clap-trap you hear about saturated fat. 2. Before you put something in the supermarket trolley, ask yourself if is a traditional food as ws eaten many centuries ago. If not, leave it on the shelf. 3. Be sincere. Speak your mind. 4. Don't be too fussey who your partner is going to be in life.
i would say - never think that loving someone is a chain to hold them down! there must be pockets of resistence against careless behaviour in the world - be a part of one! ....not that i'm that old or wise - but i've had an aging couple of years.....
never date a girl with big hands! it makes your wang look small:H no.. but on a more serious note... happiness is a state of mind... and being happy is pretty much what its all about. When it comes down to it people do pretty much everything they do with the universal goal of happiness. But heres a thought... doing things for other people *(making other people happy) generates happiness for yourself... which is crazy cuz then everyones happy:sunglasse maybe thats just for me though... im a sucker for those needy type haha what a great thread
