If you re-read my earlier posts on this thread I believe we agree that "campaign finance reform" is key to solving the issues we face now in politics that are denying us a wise, let alone a functional rule of law and government.

STP, did not agree with me that the financing of campaigns was the real problem, he blames ideas that originate from conspiracy theories about the Rockefellers and Rothchild families. Well you can see how he attempts a rebuttal
    to my arguments.

He's obviously too stuck to give me a respectful and thoughtful reply without him personally feeling insulted, exasperated, and/or repeating himself and dodging specific questions. Even though I've never cussed the poor guy out or said he was unworthy of life, liberty, or property.

Maybe you and I and others here can finally start a REAL politically logical and meaningful movement the masses can relate to.

I think many people here think that the problem is the influence of wealth in politics (and wider society).

But those in society that may disagree are the ones with wealth to have the influence on politics.

The question is how deep would reform have to go to undermine that influence?

Campaign finance reform is great but as I’ve said a lot of what would be needed to be done would be seen by many as going against the US constitution.

    Agreed.

Then it better be a movement with twice the popular strength as the 1960's civil rights movement.

And it needs to be impassioned but peaceful and thought provoking and relatable.

Because of what I do and the JOBS I go on...I have a unique inside perspective of what is going on.

As example...the Israeli/Palestinian issue....I have been to this area many times to do JOBS and I can tell you the ONLY way to achieve PEACE is for the United States to IMMEDIATELY cease all Monetary Aid sent to both sides which totals in the Multiple Billions.

The Leadership of Hamas, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad, Syria and Israel grow fat and steal money designated for the development of Palestinian Infrastructure or in Israel's case we are paying them in Billion's worth of Equipment and weapons to prevent them from wiping out Gaza anytime they desired.

When Arafat dies the leadership of both Fatah and Hamas begged Arafat's family to give back the over $20 Billion that Arafat stole in aid money and they offered the Arafat Family 10% they could keep if the gave the rest back.

Arafat's family said NO...you will just steal the money for yourself and they were right.

Fatah and Hamas came to the U.S. and asked us to use our enormous economic and political influence to make Swiss Banking transparent...we agreed to do this but warned both Fatah and Hamas by the time we were able to do this Arafat's family would have moved that money to the Cayman Islands...which they did.

Result...the United States found over $800 Billion in Nazi Gold and stolen art hidden in storage facilities run by Swiss Banks.

Point is...we stop sending Monetary Aid...this conflict will be over in 8 months.

In 8 months it will be over anyways. Or do you think the Palestinians are standing any chance against Israel?

If you want peace and and a non-violent society you will need to ban ALL religions, eliminate borders, convert Capitalism to a share all system where everyone is paid equally and shares all profit, all profits across all businesses must be shared and distributed equally, people who can work must work, people who cant will be looked after by people who can. Bring all world governments under one overall governing body. Ensure everyone on the planet is agreeable to the above.

The truth is that it could never work, we could never be a peaceful non-violent society and still express our freedoms, a peaceful society is an oppressive society, its not Human nature to be peaceful, we are a violent aggressive species, with an insatiable lust for territory and possessions.

    Interesting perspective.

Meh we might as well try that tactic and see what happens.

I just wonder that the military-industrial complex would think gone our demand for their products that we previously used due to foreign aid demand would drop, and then job layoffs would happen.

Anyway I have an announcement guys.

I have decided to leave hipforums, I have enjoyed talking with you all but it's time for me to move on.

For those I just met and are good conversationalists and are nice people, I wish I had met you sooner in the 4 years I was here.

Be warned there's a lot of rigid ideology here and also a lot of trolls and false beggars of "i need help for this or that" and they won't be genuine. Don't let those people wear you out, they likely will though.

But on the off chance they might be legitly in need of advice or help, I ask you treat them nicely and with respect.

    ---

I am slowly weening myself off from here and wrapping up all the conversations I have been engaged in.

For new posters, you have probably asked a question I have already provided an answer towards so you might find my perspective in the older threads.

Anyway I will say goodbye, it's been a pleasure.

OK first this is an example of either or thinking, a mentality that is likely to end in violence, if things are either black or white – right or wrong – good or evil then you are setting up a either with us or against us framework that is going to cause conflict.

Again - either it’s peace and we lose all our ‘freedom’ or we are ‘free’ and have all the violence.

What dictates ‘human nature’ I mean humans don’t live in nature we live very un-natural lives.

We are not like other animals we are self aware, animals do not write constitutions or make laws or form bring in forms of governance to safe guard life and liberty and protect freedoms, oh of course these things can be used to curtail freedoms but that is where we the people should be to restore balance.

Genes that control how human brains work, how the fight and flight response works, and then the culture that helps the neo-cortex moderate and act as the executive for more primal urges and how to control them.

But that's what and where the mechanics of human nature comes from.

Some of it is biological and genetic, the rest of it is choice of expression.

Look at how Japanese culture reacted to losing in the World Cup.

    They cleaned up a stadium.

How do others react to losing? They throw a tantrum and destroy stuff.

Some of that is cultural choice, and discipline, or lack thereof.
